just google horror stories of people on Coinbase and other platforms being locked out and never getting back in. These people are hard as fuck to contact about issues.

This is my confusion and my biggest worry. I just started on Coinbase online and bought a bunch of items about a month ago.

But is it safe to just store them on Coinbase? Seems like they could lock me out. But I’ve also heard horror stories of people losing passwords for their offline storage.

I plan on dollar cost averaging BTC and ETH long term and I’ve taken the shotgun approach to buy and now hold the smaller cryptos in hopes 1 hits it big in a few years or a decade. I’m not day trading now and likely won’t.
 
Is XRP still not available on Coinbase? I can't see it as available to buy.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just read an article that it was suspended. Funny... that article said to dump it.. even though it's shooting up again lol.

Think of it like buying gold from the mint. You could leave it there at the mint with your name on it or take it home and put it in a safe. If you take it home and the value of gold goes up then you still have the same amount of gold, you can take it back to the mint and sell it for profit.

If you take it home and put it in a safe there is a risk that you could forget/lose your safe combo and can never open your safe or your house burns down etc. Keeping it in the mint it could get stolen.

The exchange I use in Japan keeps 80% of the crypto in cold wallets which is safe from hacking and it's partnered with a large local bank so if it were hacked the funds would most likely be recovered and/or backed by the bank, although I've had to transfer to Binance in order to buy alts.

Wild to see LTC hit $206 so quickly. No way it sustains though.

Just to see is there any news that I havent heard of..

Its kinda overtaking and I see a lot of people "mining" it on phone..
Its apparently made by some PhD donkeys from Stanford and its based on blockchain same as Bitcoin and other cryptos.
Currently its in his development phase, and its posible to mine it by very hefty rate around 0.10 per hour..
And when it enters the market even if it becomes worth half of dollar its good.

I hope that is not some pyramid scheme or multi-level marketing..

Users were already buying out each others account but they stopped it already. They said that you would need verification by phone number and identification document to withdraw coins at some point.



Currently its worth like 1.6$

Yes I've heard of it, it's been going for a while.......
It still hasn't got a market cap and I need to read up on its tokenomics but I don't have much hopes for it IMHO.
 
Does it have a website, community, utility?
 
So it’s only app based ? You cant mine itt with pc?

I’ve got 5 old pc’s with older gc’s that I’ve been thinking about finding. Some easy mine lower coins and just rolling. The Dice Incase one hits decent..

Me neither but its very well organised and much more competent people predicted it as a good crypto. Untill then, it costs me nothing to click it once a day to mine. We'll see.

Mining is only possible with phone app.
But who knows what will happen in future.
 
Why is there no market cap, or market, exchanges? Looks dead.
 
There are plenty of good working crypto projects to get into.
