Bitcoin explosion and ALT coins thread

Is ETH an alt coin? I consider ETH, BTC, and LTC as the "main" coins.
 
Anything not BTC was considered alt coins, but it's not a rigid concept. Ether has become pretty mainstream right now, Litecoin not so much.

These small ALT coins will probably be actually used as currency unlike bitcoin, because people just hoard bitcoin and speculate for investment returns. The amount of bitcoin hoarding makes it almost futile to spend on stuff. Those alt coins could actually be more fluid and practical with less bloat and wait times.

The problem is which one? Way too early now to find out.
 
I told you guys to bail before I bought, I hope you heeded my advice.

I spent a day doing some quick trading (ETH) trying to time the swings and came out positive on all of them. Next day I stupidly went in bigger before taking a good look but it didn't matter cos since then it's been constantly dropping. Down about 30%.

Quick trading is a terrible strategy tho.

I've seen these plenty of times. Pay attention who continues to buy. Follow the money . Hedge funds are still accumulating during the drops and regulation fears.

I'm actually going to buy more and cost dollar average lol.

The weak hands are going to do what the whales want and sell smh.
 
Crazy how fast it's crashing. I wish I had waited till now to invest more.

Nah it was working well, like I said.

Hold about 80% and play with the rest. It was just money I had sitting in the bank and I'm free all day anyway.

Why the hell would I sell now?

I'm saying you should have sold at 40k and bought back now after my Midass touch. I'll wait until it stabilises and then think about buying more.
