Hard to be a banker in Norway staying poor. But thanks anyway. I think I can do ok without investing in Internet currency.
I don’t know if Norway will be the exception but commercial banks will be abundant in most western countries in the coming 10-20 years. Central banks don’t need you guys anymore with the upcoming CBDC’s

Let's hope. I am hoping to move on to another field in the future. Banking is a filthy business.

True, including the central banks. In comes a decentralized medium of exchange that can not be touched by corrupt hands or seized by a government. The hardest money in the world. Fair for everybody...

HSBC is Chinese. Its expected lol. They'll happily take cartel money but scoff at bitcoin money lol.

Other banks are completely fine.

Im hoping this dip persists, luckily I timed it correctly, but im hoping for big dips to buy back in huge.

Loving the dip, to be honest i hope it goes into march so i can accumulate more when everyone is panicking.

I personally think facilitating corruption is the 2nd best use of bitcoin, after illegal trades.

In the states, there is no interest.

I'm sorry to hear that. Only for rich bankers and oil moguls and people with secret accounts in the good old former nazi banks in Germany or Switzerland.

Is it because of the bad economy? Or did Biden bring in sharia laws to be hip and liberal? It's forbidden to make interest on money in the Quran.

(just kidding)

Sure. Money is a dirty business. I might be in the wrong in the future. But I have no investments. Just savings in an account with decent interests. I don't like to bet against banks, inside traders, multinational corporations and such. They're always ahead. When you read about stocks, shares, business in the papers you're already late to the party if you consider investing.

A traditional savings account gives like .01% interest lol.

That doesn't even beat inflation.

It's about 1% + - depending on how much you have in your account. The more the better interest. Mine is 0.65% which is the lowest in my life time. We had like 1.8 and 2.5 in our golden age. Things turned shitty after 2007-08.

At least cash is not frowned upon in the U.S. Government and banks in could freeze our numbers we see on the screen. They really don't "excist".

You always have the good ol' matress though.

Ahh... It's not much worse here. I don't consider those "decent' interest rates at all. When I was a kid, a everyday interest rate was 5% to 10%. Those were decent interest rates.

These are CDs:

Now you have to invest in the market or other places to see those same rates.

Ah. Yeah they were about the same here before. But long ago before I got a bank account. I'm 35. I made 100k profit on selling my apartment. Then it crashed. Got one in though!

then you are personally very wrong informed and there is a lot of reading up for you to do. Thank me later

So what’s the inflation like in Norway? I live in the EU, we have 0 - negative interest rates and they say inflation is about 1.5% while that’s way higher in reality. So with these interest rates/inflation you know your purchasing power will go down for sure
