Bitcoin currency of the future?

However, ATMs are able to be hacked and have been for decades. Pull your money out of the bank NOW (??)

Lol yeah exactly. The number of idiots who come out here spewing strong opinions about a technology they have not even bothered researching..

I like Drenalin, I think he just hasn't researched the topic except maybe for scare articles yet.

Dren, the people who are adopting, supporting, and developing blockchain are the tech savvy giants who know what it is and how powerfully secure it is. Silicon valley tech leaders and industries are the ones that going full steam on this technology. Companies like BOSCH, largest automotive manufacturer/supplier in the world. They're pouring their investment capital into it. It has their full enthusiasm.

The guys who are squeamish about it are merely reporters (who generate kneejerk fuel as a cheap way to keep their jobs while holding no liability for it) and old guys who aren't even in step with how the internet works yet.

If anyone wants to learn a lot without a lot of effort, there is a documentary on Bitcoin/blockchain technology and how it works on Netflix. Just watch that with a few snacks, it's not riddled with difficult terms and is very easy to watch while getting a good perspective on how it works.

My good deed for the day.

I am going to assume you are not mentally deficient and have just not really researched the topic - so here is just one link among thousands that say the same thing.

I quote - ''Bitcoin itself is almost impossible to hack as the blockchain technology that forms the basis of the currency is constantly under review by other Bitcoin users.''

https://techspective.net/2017/12/03/can-bitcoin-hacked/
Lol I already posted that same link

So what if 10-20 years now quantum computers exist? Also you sound worried about bitcoin getting hacked
I already addressed that: as hashing power advances so too will secure hashing algorithms(SHA). We could even advance into a whole new method of security.

It's funny how you know little about this subject, but now that I gave you a buzzword you predict mass hacks decades from now.

You still haven’t provided any proof to back up you claims. Where is your proof that bitcoin impossible to hack?
Go study to be a computer scientist/software engineer and read through the entirety of the Bitcoin code. It's open source and readily available for your highly anticipated scrutiny.

Or be sensible and listen to those actually knowledgeable on the subject who can break things down into layman's terms for you.

I said bitcoin could be hacked. I provided proof of hacks that have already taken place. You don’t have any arguments left to make. Not sure why you keep trying

This is where I realized your post wasn’t worth reading. You could’ve posted a link faster than it took you type all of that.

Funny....must have been around the same time I realised I was conversing with a real life Hodor.

I think you need to improve on your reading comprehension.

No, you're linking hacks to centralized web exchanges and careless individuals.

Unless you have billions of years to spare you cannot hack bitcoin itself. Idiots, sure, but the actual bitcoin code is essentially impossible to hack.

There must be some kind of confusion here. When I say bitcoin i mean currency. I’m not saying bitcoin code lol my whole point is people can have their bitcoin currency stolen by hackers. It’s at risk everytime it is used. They also recommend not keeping all of your bitcoin in one wallet.

You lost a debate to a 7 year old. Sad

Wasn’t much of a debate was it. You asked a question that multiple people answered (with sources), but you still can’t seem to read or comprehend properly.

But seriously, run along and play now -you’re wasting everyone’s time.

"Stolen by hackers"
Yes but only if the owner of the coins computer system is hacked and/or They are careless

"It's at risk everytime it is used"
No, that's actually where it's incredibly secure. It's not a hack if some idiot sends BTC to the wrong address.

"They also recommend not keeping all of your bitcoin in one wallet"
Yes this is one of the best safeguards for personal mishandling of coins. Luckily these aren't real, physical wallets otherwise storing them would become a headache. For now we can safely encrypt address files into a tiny folder on a USB drive, an offline computer, somewhere in the cloud, etc.

Btw who is "they?" Seems like "they" spooked the shit out of you because it's really not that complicated.

So you’re saying hackers were able to steal bitcoin. Gotcha. That’s exaclty what will make the stock drop like I said in my OP.

Your only argument was that bitcoin is “extremely unlikely” to be hacked. That doesn’t help your case much.
