Now they are negotiating. I absolutely believe there will be stiff ramifications if DJ refuses to fight TJ. The UFC is giving DJ time. They are being patient. Reasoning with DJ.

I don't see the UFC allowing DJ to the call the shots in a division they allowed just to cater to him. The division doesn't draw. If DJ refuses challenges that the UFC deem are worthy why should the UFC allow him to hold it hostage?

I stand by my words as long at TJ wants to fight at 125 (which at this point is no guarantee with all the games DJ has played).

It's clear DJ doesn't want to challenge himself without a huge payday pillow. Maybe the UFC forces him. I still believe they should. If TJ signs to make the weight DJ needs to take that fight.

Nevertheless, I don't see DJ and his brand prospering unless he takes this fight. Too many variables. If a guy challenges you at your weight and you duck that's a duck.
