Bisping officially retires from MMA

hope he retires from broadcasting next
best luck to him in his private life

It was the only way he was getting a title shot. Not exactly a risk.
Are you sure about that? Prior to the Rockhold rematch he'd won three in a row (and was 4-1 in his last 5 fights) and was coming off a win over Anderson Silva.

It isn't like he'd been getting his ass kicked and was gifted a title shot out of the blue.

Hope he finally gets the surgery to correct his eye. Say what you want but the guy was a warrior.

Dang, no good bye fight? Well, i'm glad he's saving that brain.
Well fought Bisping, steroid free in a world full of them.

Just when Till takes the torch.

Great career Ping. This brew im crackin is for you

MMA retirement announcements mean absolutely nothing. Probably two weeks or a month tops there will be an article saying he'll come back for the right fight or the right payday.

I'd bet the house he'll have more fights, plural.

It’s not who he did fight that’s the problem it’s who he wouldn’t fight that was. He only took tough fights when he absolutely had to other wise he was given the easier paths over and over. Before you hurt yourself patting your back the 2nd Henderson fight should have never happened. That fight is an example of him being unwilling to fight the top contenders. I’m not surprised he skipped out on his supposed retirement fight either. The guy was a dirty fighter, good riddance.
You're a moron. Bisping has never refused a fight before winning the title.

Thanks for all the laughs, Mike. You were certainly a character, but a nice guy underneath it all.

Would've liked to see the Rockhold trilogy or a Nick Diaz retirement fight, but it's understandable at the end of the day.

Hope to still see him on UFC Tonite and catch clips of his podcast on YouTube.

Ya and in fairness I listened to him like two weeks ago and he said on his podcast that he was retired. I think it was around when Machida called him out.

This is pretty sad, I've been watching Bisping since he came on the scene and it was such a good moment to see a guy who had worked hard all his career finally have that belt wrapped round his waist, when a lot of people doubted him and he was against all odds. The ultimate underdog, Michael "The Count" Bisping kudos to you my friend.

Dude’s right eye is starting to look all milky white. Prob good call

I saw him fight live vs Wandy and Rivera here in Aus, always adds a certain flavor to every card he's on, all the Aussies are gonna miss him for sure

Always great to watch in and out of the cage, great innings Bisping, the OG from the UK

Thanks mate, enjoy that well earned retirement

Happy trails, Bisping. You were a good fighter, always active, and always entertaining.

Hope he stays retired and enjoys his hard earned money. Respect to a warrior.

Bling afraid of Machida.

Just kidding.

If he really is retiring...
