JimRyko getting exposed badly here
And yes Punk v Lesnar was much better than the Cena matches(which were good in their own right)
Even that bozo Meltzer gave it 4.5 stars

Nice, What was the story behind this? I had a feeling I was wrong about that statement but I couldn't find any info to the contrary. Regardless, I highly doubt he held it hostage for 3 months to give himself a wrestlemania headline.
Jim tbh your taste is questionable
It exposes your lack of acumen on the subject
Oh Brock vs Goldberg didn't live up to your expectations so now he has make it up to you lol
His WM main event last year was exceptional
His match with Punk was one of the best in either one's career
You didn't even know they had a triple threat which was the Rumble last year (Match of the year caliber btw)
And the Cena bouts were good
Experts agree Lesnar has performed well
Not sure what you don't get besides running your mouth without a clue lmao
Obviously the Lesnar/Goldberg match was pure bullshit.. And imo Lesnar has yet to pay the fans back
Your words Jim:
I expected better from you(actually I didnt lmao)
lol at you thinking you know what's best for business
It's obvious you know jack shit rofl
You compare yourself to the casual fan. The causal fan loved the Wrestlemania main event.
Even when I told you to look up HHH vs Lesnar you immediately dismissed it without watching. This is the thought process of a ignoramus who has his mind closed to his surroundings.
You are in the minority here and can't come to grips with your shit tier understanding of the squared circle.
Go back to watching some shitty overseas Indy fed crap.
But I'll do you a favor. Instead calling you Jim, you are now Chris
Those words are exactly my feeling. And anyone who says otherwise is delusional or disagreeing for the sake of argument.
I am well aware that I am a minority here. That doesn't make me wrong. All that means is that people who share your feelings tend to participate in forums to gain confirmation bias on your glorification of nostalgia. While the super vast silent majority of fans don't have time to complain on the internet. I however have tons of free time
I've seen 100 HHH matches so I can tell you right now that unless it took place pre-2004 it wasn't his best work. HHH is way past his prime and hasn't evolved as a wrestler. That doesn't mean hes bad. Hes certainly one of the best of all time. Even in his prime he never had the aura and physical prowess to match lesnar/goldberg or even RR.. You are failing to realize that I am not so much calling the matches poor performances as claiming that they didn't have the hype that goldberg had.
The WWE using lesnar is such an annoying problem because all the people that lesnar is working with are people that are respected in the industry with big names.. Where as highly talented people his own size that could put on outstanding matches don't get the time of day outside of jobbing (harper/rowan/big E). Thats why the goldberg match was special. A guy that was the same size with the same aura and the same or bigger name recognition.
I think Cena could have an outstanding match with lesnar as well if he approached it like he did his US title matches instead of how they told his superman "story" during the match. RR has an opportunity to do the same thing. He blew it last year playing the superman miracle come back role.. Hopefully this year he goes into the match playing as an equal. They've spent the last several months making RR look invincible so it shouldn't be so far fetched that he be able to match Lesnar.
I understand wrestling better than you guys do without paying even 10% the attention to it.. Not watching my 101 HHH match doesn't make me close minded.. It just means that I already aware of his move set and his story is almost always the same.. Hes basically an evolved version of hulk hogans move set and antics and he usually cheats in some way to lead up to the finish. Like I said, I'm sure it was a good match.. But I'd bet my 401k that it was not a back and fourth slam fest that most people want.
michelangelo the savage.
James is a solid wrestling fan but what we are actually seeing here I think is a fundamental difference of opinions when it comes to what works in wrestling.
James is of the (flawed) perspective that work rate creates the best match and the key is to perform cool, realistic, hard hitting spots and having logical finishes. A Cena guy?
Michelangelo is more in step with me and the nuanced fan who thinks the match is determined by how good the story is that is told in the ring and in the lead up.
I think HHH is a better wrestler now that his work rate has dropped because I think he uses psychology better and his character is more interesting.
Punk vs Undertaker was one of my favourite matches because of the story it told. Undertaker is not very capable of a high work rate.
Too early to tell for itami. I think they have big plans for him, just keep a microphone out of his face.
