shiiit good riddance to the murderer. It was really only a matter of time before he got killed I guess. I don't know too much about Big L as a person but I do like some of his music. I still bump Da Graveyard.

Being from Nor Cal, I have love for Mac Dre, but he really doesn't have shit on Big L and doesn't deserve to be in this discussion. The rest of your list is respectable. Haven't listened to new rap in like 15 years so I've never even heard of that new list TBH.

Edit: about all I've heard in the past 5 years that I liked are Death Grips, RtJ, Kendrick, and Freddie Gibbs.
