Wasn't Reeves natural too? I agree he has a great physique.

I admire the dedication of the pro bodybuilders, but some of them look so weird. Especially the short naturally small guys with arms bigger than their heads etc...

He'd pretty much have to be. Too early for teh roids. Anyone after him would be suspect, and that includes Larry Scott.

Larry Scott is one of the few guys that I think can really give Arnold a run for his money, especially in the biceps department.

What's funny is nowadays if someone has a physique anywhere close to Reeves everyone on Sherdog swears they are roided to the gills.

While we are talking about Arnold, let's be honest, the dude is really smart.

I'm putting his being alive and semi-healthy down to being smart about his doses and cycles, and just training smarter than everyone else at the time to make up for it.

That is definitely true, and happens on the internet in general. Anyone with a half way decent physique gets labelled as a juicer.

Buddy of mine has worked all his life natural, outstanding shape at age 42. Told me the other day he recently did a short, low dose cycle. Not thrilled by it, he really didn't need it. Now me, much worse shape, I am at the point where I would consider it if booze hadn't gotten to my liver first.

yeah sure it's easy to drop a few pounds and look flabby lol. You must be a fatty too.

you wish, little person.

It must suck to know that people think inherently less of you because of things beyond your control.

Yeah, that's true. And at least from what I've heard, those guys back in the day just didn't do the same amounts of shit (not nearly as many different types of drugs, nor in the same dosages). And really, it's pretty obvious. No one in the golden age of bodybuilding ever looked like the drug monsters of today, and today most of those guys are still with us and in good physical condition: Arnold, Zane, Ferrigno, Stallone (a non-competitive bodybuilder), etc.

You get a heart attack while walking to the pharmacy and getting your obesity medicine.

I was looking at the link of kevin levrone, and he's making a comeback and fairly huge compared to normal folk. Flex wheeler looks ridiculous though.

There was a pic I saw of Jay Cutler. He's shrunk a lot since retiring and actually looks more aesthetically pleasing to me. I always thought he was waaay too bloated.

Thats why they need to keep it All Natty like The Great Mike O'hearn.

46 yrs old and still shredded like champ

Lol at Piana. He looks like a science experiment now.

One of his good friends does tattoos in my hometown, has a clothing brand Piana endorses and vice versa. He just got out of a coma from his organs shutting down.

While I don't necessarily disagree about his knowledge, we can't ignore the blatantly obvious fact that Arnold was filthy stinking rich, famous and mostly powerful by the time he would have (and did, i suppose) start to pay the price for steroid abuse. With few exceptions most of his crew were likely broke as fuck and had to be on organ donor lists like the rest of us schleps.

Now a days the elite BBs seem to make serious bank with endorsement deals so they can likely buy some of their health back, but back then they made shit.

Supplements offer an absolutely insane profit margin.
