Steve Reeves is probably my ideal bodybuilder. Looks athletic and won't gas wiping his ass.

Some of those body de-transformations are bunk.

Here's a pic of Flex Wheeler that was posted on Reddit just yesterday. The dude is 49 years old.

Kevin Levrone has been talking about making a comeback to bodybuilding for years. I have no idea from when or where that pic of him is from, but he looks fine now.

here's a pic of Dorian Yates from 2011. He's in his 50's now.

Here's a pic Victor Martinez posted of himself just a few days ago.

I don't know who the heck the other guys are, but I'd be willing to bet that if the pictures were "off" for these guys, then there's no telling how bad the others are.

I've seen a photo of Piana bleeding on stage from the synthol. What a fucking joke.

Bodybuilding has become a freakshow. It's about quantity instead of quality. The top guys like Phil Heath and Kai Greene have distended stomachs from HGH and insulin. If you want to see more aesthetic builds, look to the Men's Physique competitions.

Plus, you feel less gay looking at them because they wear board shorts instead of banana hammocks.

the thing about today's supplements is that with a great work ethic you can look like o'hearn. albeit with copius amounts of Creatine, ZMA, protein, Glutamine, and good food sources.

My favorite BB back in the day was Greg Kovacs 6'5 400lbs of non fat muscle lol .don't know if he's still around but the man was a monsta.

Kovacs died two years ago.

Frank Zane is my favorite. I have lifted on and off most of my life and I always strive to look like him. Seems like an all around good guy with a great work ethic. Yeah he was probably on all sorts of diuretics and other shit but who cares.

Everyone was joking. O'hearn is the least natty guy in this thread. The dude pisses trenbolone.

damn wtf. he could not have been that old. maybe having too much muscle stresses the heart like being too fat obviously not as much as being a fat ass but 400lbs of unnatural muscle something's got to give.

SOME of those supplements are straight sugar and caffeine. That "super" powder/ whey shit is nothing but a by product or derivative of milk and cheese. They feed it to pigs. I.E. where paying $20 plus dollars for useless shit they give to pigs. I remember that shit was the rage in high school. Now I just use it for a meal replacement shake.

man i'm a lil out of touch with the bodybuilding scene. I was into bodybuilding workouts and the guys back when dorian yates and lee Haney were tearing it up. just found out Kovacs past two posts ago. anyways at one point we all wanted to look like Arnold.

a mang i'm out of touch with bb. i'm basically a BJJ hobbyst now that occasionally lifts. I started up when GNC was selling actual weights and "Ultimate Orange" was taboo lol. Twinlab was all the rave and EAS was the only creatine you could get.

LOL!!! Ultimate Orange??? There's a blast from the past.

Forsho. I got family members and friends who are in bodybuilding. I used to lift. I still read about it from time to time. I got serious when I started dropping bodyweight and increasing muscle. That and ego. Now, not so much. Too busy.

I was in the Navy when Twinlab's Ripped Fuel came out around 1998. Everyone on my ship was taking it, even people who didn't workout. One of our old Chief's seemed addicted to it. He would work 15 hour days bossing everyone around strung out on the shit and he was a fat ass who didn't even exercise. Scary times.

Creatine was the hot new shit when I was in highschool. Along with those hilarious cybergenics ads.
