Bunch of ab work like dragon flags

Then about 15-20 mins of shadow boxing followed by a few (maybe 20-30) spinning back kicks on a bag.

Grappling day, worked on preventing and escaping rear naked chokes ala Holm and Mcgreggor
Grappled for a while after words, got in a hard workout.

Had exams last week, think I got in 2-3 practices in and a lift on Saturday.

Today weighed 225, working on leaning up. Kicks on thai pads, threw a bunch and then sparred. Trying out the slip R cross while throwing a leg kick that Justin Gaethje was doing this weekend, which is a lot of fun.

Takedown drills and takedown defense.
Defending takedowns against the wall and getting off the wall.
Rolling for about 30-45 mins.
Going to be sore haha.

Stayed home, had some things to do.

So I did dumbbell rows, band rotator cuff exercises, abs, then more pulling stuff. Fairly light workout.

222lbs after practice. Grappling, passing from standing and stopping them from passing.

Grappled alot of rounds, good workout.

Starting a new clinical rotation Monday, I'll try to stay consistent but I'll probably be too busy and forget.

Saturday: 223lbs, light workout of abs, upper back and rotator cuff exercises followed by some shadow boxing.

Phil magny v Lombard was a fun fight!

This last week been busy with a clinical rotation. Only workouts were on Thursday (24th) did a muay thai class at a gym near by where im staying and a gi jiu jitsu practice afterwards. Although my phones :eek::eek::eek:meter has been saying I have been walking around 3-5 miles a day working.

Then today (Sunday) I am going to get a lift in before I head back.

Aiming for a fight around July. I have been hovering weight wise around 222-6. Current game plan is to lean up as much as possible so I don't have to worry about cutting much weight. I have my final exam the week of the fight I'm looking to get on. So I don't want to be totally miserable when I take that test.

Today I did lots of curls, rows, military presses, pull ups, abs, abs, abs.

HR in the mornings has been around 55, keep forgetting to do it before I get up.

221 lbs after practice.
1 hr boxing padwork
30 mins jiu jitsu technique
30 live grappling

Bagwork for 20 mins

Nogi jiu jitsu
Learned how to set up my triangle better. Then when they posture out switching to an arm bar. Then grappled 30 mins.

Friday hit some pads and worked various combos. Then jiu jitsu practice, worked on some half guard sweeps and a sweep from z into x guard, rolled for about 15 mins.

Today military press 145lbs 5x5
Curls 70lbs 4x10
Pull ups a plenty
Body weight rows
Squats 145lbs 3x10
Calf raises

Just a fun all around lift.

Clinical rotation messed me up some. 233 lbs at the moment. The last 2-3 weeks ive just done some grappling or padwork here and there, trying to get through the rotation and enjoying life. I have more free time now time to get back into the swing of things, so here's to that.

228 after practice.

First day back and ended up being a sparring day. Felt pretty good, cut a guy with an accidental sort of knee. Endurance was good.

Mid day: shrugs, military presses, rows, rear delt flys

Evening: 224 after a heavy practice, clinch work and cage work, then grappling after. Pretty solid I'll be sore I believe. Ribs already are from sparring yesterday from a southpaw body kick or two.

Held pads, light sparred pushing the pace on a fellow fighting next weekend a few rounds, hit some pads. Good solid workout.

Today was just a relaxed day, did some light bag work, light rolling and light boxing sparring with a new fellow, just worked on mainly defense and head movement. Got a decent sweat.
