Biased's Shenanigans

Bag work for about 20-30 mins all kicks, all kinds. Just cardio and technique focused. Stretched out really well yesterday.
 
Yesterday was a light spar with some takedowns at the end
Today was padwork just working hard and some takedown drills at the end
 
Been busy with school
Wednesday (6th) - I think that day we did a bunch of blocks and counters and then grappled at the end
Thursday - Took off from the gym, did some bag work at my house
Friday - Play sparred for about 20 or 30 mins straight
Today (Sat) - Bunch back work like rows, pullups, shrugs etc. and a bunch of dragon flags for abs, weight was

Did 5x5 of 135lbs squats, easy lift feeling better about my depth.

Trained Mon, Tues, Wednesday and Friday of this week. Either light sparring, padwork or bag work. One of those days also had a lifting sess with rows, pullups, military press and abs (dragon flags).

About 222 lbs, got a match at the end of the month I gotta get skinny for starting...now!

Did Dragon flags, rows, and a bunch of dumbbell shoulder workouts.

Today did some airdyne bike, shadow boxed a few rounds.
 
School has kept me pretty hooked up lately, had exams all last week. I got in 2 workouts at the gym. One was practicing elbows and how to enter or counter with them. The rest of the days I either did bag work, shadow boxing or lifted at my house.

This weekend is my next match, guess the guy isn't expected to make weight so looking at a catchweight or something. Weight is about 220, I am cool with not cutting weight any how.
 
Mon, Tues, Wed (today) have just done some bag work at the house after my shift. Been slacking but it's fight week any how. I'll probably try and get some hard padwork in tomorrow and then chill out Friday.
 
Made it to the gym today. Went balls out on some pad work. Every shot a power shot and way more volume than I usually throw, gassed about midway through the second round. I don't think the fight will be that high of a pace, but if so I have a round and a half in the tank, probably more due to some clinch work, etc. Felt pretty good, pad holder said I felt really solid today.
 
Ended up weighing in at 217 ish for a 220 lb fight. Really late show, I didn't end up fighting until like 10:30 or 11 p.m.
Won in the first round, was a good night. Now time to relax and focus a little on school.
 
224 lbs today, right elbow is sore and noticed I have a small cut on it. Maybe caught a tooth or something, idk.

Didn't get off from work in time to go to the gym, so I'm lifting weights at my house. Doing rows, pullups, curls, fun stuff, etc.

Sunday the 7th and today Tuesday the 9th I lifted weights. About 230 lbs, been eating everything, not much cardio and just lifting heavy stuff. Sore from Romanian deadlifts and rows.
 
Yesterday - We finally got a left handed guy in the gym with about the same reach as me. So that's awesome. Pretty athletic and picking things up fast. Hope he sticks with it so we have a lefty to practice against. Taught some basic lefty stuff to said guy and did some drills where I got to practice leading with a right against him.

Today I missed the gym and did some light squats at the house.

Bunch of TRX body weight rows
Rear delt flys with bands and also 10 lb dumbbells
5x5 Military Presses 85lbs
5x5 bodyweight dips on trx
Stretched the pecs out alot in between sets
 
228.8 lbs getting after my diet for real starting... meow.

I have mostly been doing rows, pull ups, deltoid raises, rotator cuff ex, pec stretches and stuff like that. Trying to balance out my shoulders. Impinging less on my left shoulder I have noticed. Good results so I will keep going with it.

I'll be playing some basketball or tennis today. Also will lift, most likely similar to above. May update later.
 
Worked on tuning up my lefty 1,2 body kick and my right hook. Many repetitions.

Light sparred with a southpaw at the end for a bit.
 
Warmed up on the bags for about 10-15 mins

Grappled 5, 5 min rounds. Landed high elbow guillotines here and there. Actually I landed one Darce, one heel hook and every thing else was guillotines. Felt weak, tired easily, apparently I need to start lifting seriously again or grapple more. Idk, didn't get tapped but I felt bullied a lot of the time.

Light sparring, got in a good sweat several rounds. Working on countering a lefty.
Did about 20 mins of bag work.
 
Yesterday: Sparred a few rounds and then grappled a few rounds.
Squatted 185 for 2x8'

Today: Squatted 225 for 2x5 and some other random lifts, nothing serious. Easing back into squatting.
Grappling day today. Worked on arm in and out guillotine defense and arm bar defenses. Then grappled a few rounds after.
