I really need to fix the tail-tucking when I squat, any suggestions are welcome. I'm going to work those stubborn hammies with a softball a lot. Bench felt weak tonight and I struggled through the the last few reps of each set... time to bump down for a week or two. I swam a dozen laps for cooldown and then had a suna endurance batte with a mid-age azn man. He kept pouring water over the temperature sensor and restarted the steam. This raised to temp to near death experience levels. His ninja lamaze breathing was superior to mine. He won the battle....this time.
 
Seems like most of the time you see pronounced butt-wink it is due to a lack of flexibility and a very narrow stance. I think taking a wider stance and focusing on spreading the floor/keeping your knees out will help.
 
Why haven't you set up your home gym yet?

I got 3 horse stall mats today and fixed the beastly power rack to the wall. I swung on it a bit today... solid. I need about 315lb in 45s to squat and deadlift heavy.

Whats a good price per pound? 40 cents? I'm thinking $18-20 per 45lber. I'll see what I can a mass this weekend, then Zero can come over and we can become the Wonder twins. I call Zan.
 
One on my bumpers had a weird booger mark on it and won't slide on the bar, after a session with the drum sander bit I persuded it on.

So far I have:

Under $0.50/lb is decent. The problem you'll find is that the guys who are selling plates usually have the 300lb bar + bench package with only two 45s and want to sell everything together.

I found that my dl stance was too narrow too. I opened it up this week and felt much, much stronger. I don't know why I got it in my head my heels nneeded to be ~12-15 in apart. In concentrating on a narrow stance when deadlifting would always point my feet straight forward too. Turning the toes out and taking a more athletic dl stance lets my settle in easier too.

I'll widen up my squats and spread the floor. I've noticed in full cleans I catch much wider than I back squat, fron squats too. Thanks Chase.
