Beterbiev vs Smith Jr June 18th ESPN

Joe Smith has a punchers chance, but Beterbiev holds pretty much every advantage in this fight other than power, which is probably a wash. I don't think there's any way this makes it to the scorecards. Have a great time manm that's so cool that you are going live.

Age happens overnight...especially for inactive fighters

Joe does indeed have a puncher's chance. Even the opponents he didn't stop/kayo he still managed to hurt. He could potentially hurt Artur, too. That's what makes it an interesting fight.

As far as advantages go Joe does have a couple. He'll have speed, significant youth, height and length advantages. However, he doesn't actually know how to "fight tall" (box rangy) to make use of his length "advantage." Joe also has the career experience advantage. He's been a pro longer and gone more rounds. On the flipside, Artur's the one that has been at the top longer so he'll have the actual edge in championship fight experience come tomorrow night. Additionally Artur will have a significant advantage in strength, skill/craft, and I believe the power edge as well. Artur is the much more versatile and naturally gifted puncher of the two. Punch-for-punch, with either hand and regardless of shot selection, he hits harder than Joe does (with the lone exception being Joe's booming right hand). I'd also give Artur the stamina and durability advantages. He's simply more efficient and economical than Joe is in everything that he does, and unlike Joe, he's never been stopped. Size is a wash. Both guys are big tough light heavyweights.

You guys see the face off? I'm usually not into the body language voodoo, but Smith Jr. looked a tad intimidated to me. Leaning even more toward Beterbiev.

These things tend to be meaningless but Biev is his usual calm self. Not shook at all.

I am no expert but i don t see this going differently than the rest for biev s fights.
10 rounds battering and suffocation until apanent breaks in 10th or so.

If Smith throws caution to the wind and just piles in without regard for his own health (his only way to win IMO), then perhaps Beterbiev won’t have that choice.

Some guys just aren't good with the staredowns.

I think he looked ok tbh, he's kind of a quiet guy from what I can tell, I don't think he's the type from whom you can read much into

Joe Biden should ride his bicycle up to beterbiev and sanction him. easy KO for smith after that
