Okay. I do think he is to blame somewhat. I think having a role model coach who teaches that it is okay to manipulate and use others can have these types of consequences.

I don't think that is taking any blame away from the two guys. They can each have 100% of the blame, and Lloyd can have like 10% of it. It can add up to more than 100% because there is more than one person involved here. Otherwise you'd have to say that the two guys were each 50% to blame since they raped one girl. Obviously it doesn't work that way.

So those two are 100% to blame, but Lloyd is also partly to blame.

We all agree that he's a scumbag. I, nor any of the folks responding in that vein that I can think are "spinning a narrative" starting with him being a scumbag. The narrative that he is a scumbag is being created by his actions. And that is the genesis of my comments.

You seem to want to review the thought process in review. Meaning (as I said above), that we're using "scumbag" as a starting point. As opposed to his actions leading to that. It is his own actions that lead to my comment "he still thinks it's okay to rape people". His own actions make that a reasonable statement. Everything he does is to deflect from the issues at hand, and point blame at everyone else. Nothing in his actions points to him having learned anything from a vile act that he committed.

Then we look at how his business is run. How members of his team feel its okay to act. (Remember, he managed to be in a group of people that found rape to be acceptable behavior: Like attracts to like) We see how he's responding now.

You seem to be stuck on the notion that people are pissed that he did a seminar; but you're also ignoring the context that people are using to being annoyed by his seminar. He did it as a cover up and a redirect.

I hear you saying that you think he's a "scumbag", but we all see you defending him every step of the way. It isn't logical.

Yeah I've always found it odd that some people complain about forums so much yet they use Facebook to do the same stuff only like ten times worse.

Honestly I post here rather than Facebook for most stuff because there is actually real discussion on here sometimes. Facebook is just that shit over and over and over again. I don't even bother.

I wonder what the reaction to the NYE Rape (i guess alleged at this point) would be if it happened with students from Marcelo's, Fifty50, Renzo's, Saulo's, Atos etc. I have friends at all of those schools and would like to think there would be a great outrage of the students AND instructors. There would be no attempted coverups by any of those coaches. I would be there would be immediate strong public statements from each of those coaches. Not any attempted cover ups etc. In fact I bet Maldanado and Schultz would be safer in jail than on the street as some of those coaches would take action themselves.

My point is that a head coach sets the tone of an academy. Students will always look to them as a starting point and decide what to do from there. This does not take Maldanado or Schultz off the hook, they are 110% responsible for their actions. lloyd may lack many things but i don't think he set those to out to rape anyone. His actions since speak loudly though. Is there any truth to the rumor that he may be financially helping Maldonado and Schultz in their defense costs? That may be 100% rumor. The culture of TLI appears to be very different than the other academies I mentioned. Their students have been silent or have blindly defended lloyd. While I can't be sure, I doubt this would happen at many other schools. I understand that some medal chasers are kind of stuck as lloyd manages all of their housing, food, expenses etc. It can't be easy to pick up and leave. I do think it will be harder to find another team the longer people stay with TLI. As I've said before I anticipate some medal chasers to leave simply based on the fact that Fowler, Hall, Nak, Jared, Wilson, Chim and I believe Cruz as well have all left.

Facebook lets you see how genuinely stupid the people you know really are. My wife has FB and I'll go on an read the rants and complaining once and a while and it makes me lose respect for many of them.

You people are reading news reporters and not the court documents, regardless no matter what most of you are 100 percent gun ho to vilify him and I think you need to take a step back and look at yourselves because it's wrong. I have said before he is a father, a husband, he has a son. He does not want his son's name to be tarnished when he grows up he is protecting his family and his business and his empire, and everyone who trains under him.

I have no ill will against you are angrily and wrongfully accusing him and making stuff up that is your prerogative but it is also mine to tell you that you are wrong, dead wrong, and maybe you should look in your hearts to maybe forgive, if that's what you need to do but not forget, and move on. I have talked to more than a people that have left TLI which would disagree with everything you say. You accuse everyone of being stuck in certain viewpoints yet you seem to be equally stuck. I've asked you a few times what you would have to see/hear/read etc to change your view. Maybe you need to be an eyewitness to lloyd or his team in the act of certain things. I think that would be an extreme stance but maybe that is your stance. It just seems that there is nothing that can come out that would sway your opinion.

Innocent of what? Gang rape? He admitted he was at the gang rape and would have taken part if he could get an erection.
