Best wrestlers that Khabib faced?

Maybe. Gleison still beat him tho.

Now you just said this like it isn't an opinion.

Get back to the real world, you'll find out Khabib won.

Let me guess, some poll with a whopping 5 experts, 3 of them from the same website, claimed Tibau won. lmao

Both credentials-wise and effectiveness-in-MMA.

RDA has great TDD but his credentials in wrestling are non-existent.

Abel Trujillo has some wrestling background but it's not that strong and his wrestling stats in the UFC are terrible.
What argument are you trying to make here? Say it with your chest

the guy with the best wrestling that he faced beat him, but the judges gave him the fight anyway

Tibau 30-27

RDA does not have great TDD, maybe once he's already in a wrestling exchange but it's very easy for fighters to back him up and duck under his punches for a takedown

Khabib won't even compete in grappling against other grapplers or even other MMA fighters the way that Jones, GSP, and even Mike Perry has.

Does it really matter? The greatest MMA wrestler of all time only took it up as an adult and has no acolades. It's a mix bro

Shalorus has a good wrestling background but is a bit undersized for LW and he was able to stop 6 of 9 takedown attempts.

Healy has a D2 background but his MMA wrestling wasn't anything special. His career takedown defense is below average and I think every single person he fought the UFC took him down. He stopped 6 of 11 takedowns.

Johnson has a decent collegiate background but he is also on the smaller side for a LW. He was able to stop 4 of 6 takedowns.

RDA has solid BJJ but has never really been known for his takedown defense. For reference, his career takedown defense is 58% whereas Tony's is 75% and Gaethje's is 80%. Khabib went 6 for 12 on takedowns against him.

Tibau has solid wrestling credentials plus a BJJ black belt and was able to stop 100% of Khabib's takedowns.

Ferguson is interesting because he has decent wrestling credentials combined with high level BJJ while also having the height and reach advantage on Khabib, unlike everyone previously mentioned other than Tibau.

IIRC Pat Healy had a strong wrestling background, but we all know what happened, pretty much domination.
yves edwards was on joe rogans podcast, and they were talking about Khabib's wrestling..

Yves said that the grappling level of the dagestanis is no joke. He said that Nick Lentz a d1 wrestler got manhandled by Islam Mackachev. He couldnt get anything going against that guy.

Nick Lentz a d1 wrestler

Nick Lentz never wrested in the lineup and he washed out after a year.

A better way to describe Nick Lentz is "a solid high school wrestler who couldn't hang at the collegiate level."

Im just sayin,he got dominated easily. So if they can do that, they can win against better wrestlers than lentz. Even if it was more competitive.

No sweat I know you mean well, its just a misconception some people have that Lentz was a Division I wrestler. He was not. He was a good high school wrestler that didn't make the team and left after one season in college - he didn't wrestle a single match in the lineup.

Chad Mendes was an actual Division I wrestler and an outstanding one at that. Go watch his fight with Lentz. Its like an adult fighting their teenage cousin.
