I feel like any fighter who gets popped for PEDs from now on can just plead their case that they did it out of competition and get away with it. Uhm you're misinformed.. it's sold in grams ounces pounds and kilos, but generally you get a half gram or gram as the smallest quantity a dudes gonna sell. I actually think gram for gram is just as funny whether askren pinched his joke or the other way around.

Except that there are decades worth of cases of athletes not being able to do that. Most PEDs are banned at all times. Anabolic steroids, HGH, hCG, EPO, diuretics, and most other things that people have been busted for are always banned. Some things, like weed, coke, alcohol, and pseudoephidrine are only prohibited in competition, but that's largely the exception.

Everything on this list is prohibited at all times. This include pretty much everything Sonnen got popped for, for example.
