Clubber was NOT a bad guy. Thats some bullshit. He was the Number 1 contender who was being openly DUCKED by Rocky's camp and he had to do whatever he could to get the shot he rightfully earned by working hard and winning. He was even knocking everyone out as a bonus. He is the exact type of Fighter fans beg for and we would get behind in a second if they saw how bad Rocky's team was Ducking him.

Tommy gun got what he deserved because he died of AIDS.

That's what you get for being a backstabbing prick.

It is kind of sad to think of it that way. It makes you wonder what the hell happened to Clubber Lang and Drago. Those dudes dropped off the face of the earth. I hope they didn't hang themselves or something.

Rocky dies when Clubber Lang pushes him down while calling out Creed for Clubber Jr., then Drago comes over from Russia to take over Creeds training and turn him into a Russian Black Bear. Drago gives Creed his shorts from when he fought Rocky. Creed destroys Clubber Jr. and then honor kills Clubber Sr. in Rocky's honor. Creed gets sentenced to life, where he fights in the yard for the prison guards. Creed then gets a roommate who is a descendent of Andy Dufresne who was framed for embezzlement. He becomes his body guard and they Shawshank a guard and escape to Mexico where Creed becomes a famous underground boxing trainer.

Fade to black.

I was thinking more along the lines of Clubber Lang being a fight analyst or commentator.

However, I see some potential in a Drago Jr. A Russian youth who followed his father's footsteps in the military and Olympic boxing challenges the privileged bastard child of the man his father killed. That is some good drama right there...

Yes, but does your version have Creed fighting for his bunghole in a prison shower? I think not.

best as in best or best as in worst XD

If we're planning future rocky spin offs, I'd like to suggest that we keep these movies about actual boxing rather than street fighting or prison fighting.

I mean they did the whole street fight thing in rocky 5 and it was terrible(but awesome). But just didn't have the same appeal as a fight in the ring.

And lol @ that fake don King in rocky 5 haha.

drago for killin creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

Ivan Drago, dude was Vitored to the max! He killed Creed he was so juiced up! Minus well call him Bane.

Drago for being a filthy communist and threatening America's Christian values.

I think the most "truthful" character has been Apollo without a doubt. Rocky himself would tell you Apollo was his greatest adversary.

Second would be Ivan Drago in my opinion, the most iconic looking from the rest at least

Drago would be a clear #1 if we're talking about villains. He was more than just a boxer, he was the collective will of a nation personified. His cold reaction to killing Creed was one of the great moments of the entire series, and set him up as the ultimate opponent.

Clubber brought the fire and intensity, and was not to be denied from his shot at the title. As over the top as he was, Clubber still was much more human than Drago. I remember that in an old Rocky videogame that you started out with prison fights with Clubber, showing how he came from rock bottom, having to make the very most of his extremely limited opportunities.

Tommy Gunn was easily the most hateable opponent Rocky faced, but he was too much of a chump to top either Drago or Clubber in any other way.

I don't see Apollo, Dixon, or Conlan as villains. Apollo was far too likable from the jump, his obvious Ali influences and Carl Weather's charisma making him a great foil for Rocky. I didn't want to see him get smashed into the ring like I did Drago, Lang or Gunn, it was more about seeing Rocky prove himself against the great champ. Dixon's story was as much a redemption story as Rocky's was in their movie, and Conlan never stepped into villain territory, aside from that quite intimidating ringwalk.

You can't beat the Russian experiment.

Ironically I just watched Rocky 1 and I'm halfway through Rocky 2.

Carl Weathers was the perfect Apollo Creed. He's not my favorite villain but he was really good in those movies.

This man knows his Rocky!

Drago for me. Super intimidating, roided to the gills, killed Rockys best friend, embodied cold war tension. Drago had it all.

Clubber wasn't a bad guy. He was just a hard working, rough neck from Chicago. He beat Rocky as any #1 could.
