best revenge wins in MMA

Easily Alexander Shlemenko making Brandon Halsey his bitch (tapping to strikes in the fetal position) for taking his title. Finishing him faster (25 seconds) than Halsey did in their first encounter (35 secs).

Don’t know why it took so long for Shogun / Machida to be mentioned.

It’s the first thing that came to mind, and the only answer I was looking for as I scanned the replies.

Shogun / Machida was one of the biggest robberies in UFC history, despite the lies the dishonest Machida nuthuggers tried and try to perpetuate. Machida won 1 round at best, though I don’t remember giving him even 1 round.

Shogun brutalizing him in the rematch was justice served.

I spose part of it is a lot of people do not even consider the original result legit so Shogun didnt need to get "revenge" for a fight he'd actually won.

While it was nice to see them get the wins back I don't really consider CroCop v Gonzaga or Shogun v Forrest to be avenged since when the rematches happened all fighters were passed their prime and the fights weren't really consequential compared to the initial fights. The Shogun/Forrest one seemed especially meaningless since Forrest seemed more interested in getting out of there and getting to the birth of his kid.
GSP's rematches with Hughes and Serra and Shogun v Machida 2 are the best avenging of a loss fights for me.

Although Stipe's win was great. That third fight he nearly blinded DC with almost a full length finger in his eye. Dont get too excited bro. Every fighter does what they can to win.
Eh, paybacks are a bitch, I have ZERO problems with Stipe doing it when DC did it to him TWO fights in a row.

NOTHING will ever overtrump the pure satisfaction I felt when CroCop gonzagad Gonzaga for crocoping CroCop!

This was the only time I ever shed a tear because of a MMA fight.

My favorite. From the pre-trash talk to the post-fight swearing to the conceive achieve crap. Bisping being a contender fighting who's who for years and finally making it to the top and knocking smug Luke out with one eye was the ultimate Face-turn for an all-time Heel. Mike's celebration with his family there with him was one of the all-time best moments in MMA history.

Shogun/Machida 2. Shogun did not leave it in the hand of the judges this time.

He lost that first fight. You don't leg kick your way to a belt.
Machida won rounds three rounds.

all great selections guys

but NOT one agreed with me on cain and dos santos!!!!

dos santos koes Cain on UFC on FOX DEBUT tv show in front of millions. After being guest star on al the fox sports network shows etc etc. Completely embarassing.

Then he goes and absolutely demolishes dos santos over 5 rounds in the rematch THEN AGAIN beats him down over 5 rounds and tkos him this time right at the end in the trilogy

here here!

Shogun Machida after the debacle of a decision.

Not for an actual loss itself but Shogun destroying Arona after the latter beat Wand early that night was the most satisfying for me.
