Now that olivera /islam is on the very near horizon what were some of the best revenge wins in the history of the sport.

1. the brutality of the loss must be taken into consideration.


2. the brutality of the revenge win must be taken into consideration.

3. the importance of both fights taken into consideration(ie title fights would rate higher than prospect fights)


example:
Fighter A destroys fighter B in the first fight but fighter B destroys fighter A in the rematch would rate much higher than

Fighter A winning a close fight in the first fight but fighter B wins the rematch by decision



My pick - cain losing by first round ko to dos santos but winning the rematch by absolutely dominating and bluegunning dos santos into a bloody pulp after 5 rounds in the rematch.

Machida vs Shogun I wasn't brutal but it was bullshit, so it made the result of the rematch incredibly satisfying.

Aside from some of the other fights mentioned already:

- Chuck vs Randy II and III had some brutality to them.
- Kevin Burns' eye poke on Rumble was nasty and resulted in a BS loss which made the brutal head kick KO even more satisfying.
- DJ vs Moraes II. Brutal and impressive that DJ was able to return the favor with a knee KO.
- Todd Duffee TKO'd Phil De Fries in the UFC back in 2012. They just rematched in KSW and de Fries returned the favor with a TKO of his own. De Fries also has 9 title defenses now which is impressive considering he got cut from the UFC after going 2-3.
