best muay thai fighters in each division?

No mention of Rambaa M-16 Somdet????!!!

Best Muay Thai fighter in 125lbs and below. Period.

Duane Ludwig deserves a mention not nearly as good as Silva but who is?

No hate, no flaming, I just want opinions. Here I'll give you mine.

Fly weight=John Dodson
Bantam Weight=Renan Barao
Feather Weight=Jose Aldo (honorable mention to Korean Zombie)
Light Weight=Toss up (Edson Barbosa, Donald Cerrone, Anthony Pettis)
Welter Weight=Carlos Condit (honorable mention to Thiago Alvez)
Middle Weight=Anderson Silva
Light Weight=Shogun Rua
Heavy Weight=Alistair Overeem

shogun had great thai boxing, but hasn't used it lately and thats why hes been losing

Nate Diaz out-striked him using only his boxing. Barboza has much better muay thai than Cerrone.

I still think Cerrone has the better muay thai.

If anything, the Diaz fight just proves that a good boxer can take out a good thai fighter, who often are far better at blocking kicks than they are at blocking punches.

I group up idolizing all those chute boxe guys. Shoguns over reliance on his right hand in recent times makes me sad. If only his knees were never compromised.

Overeem
Shogun
Anderson
Thiago Alves
Barbosa
Jose Aldo
Renan Barao
Mighty Mouse

I don't think you give Condit or Rua the respect they deserve IMO.

I think people give Rua far too much respect as far as technique goes. He hits hard but his most dangerous weapon is a lunging overhand which is almost non existent in Muay Thai. Condit is very solid though, that's true.

Thiago Alves has by far the best MT at WW!

Duane Ludwig anyone? Not now, but used tobe pretty damn fun to watch...

There's also Johnny Eduardo and Yves Jabouin at BW.

Yuri Alcantara at FW too.

Njokuani at LW.

Alves and Ludwig at WW.

Just a few guys you were missing.

Who at light heavyweight has better Muy Thai though? Honestly? He's the best because Muy Thai at LHW is lacking.

Best pure muay thai fighter in MMA has to be Rambaa M-16 Somdet. Pound for pound.
