First Kurosawa I ever saw, and I got to see it in the goddamn theater. Local arthouse place was playing it back in the day. Blew my shit away.
 
Godfather I + II viewed as a single narrative epic.

Childhood movie....ET

Adulthood would be a toss up between Shawshank and Goodfellas.
 
This was Cameron's filmmaking masterpiece, and would be viewed as one of the best movies of all time if not for two issues.

1. Instrumental versions of 'My heart will go on' being played in the background of dozens of scenes.

2. Leonardo 'Teen Hearthrob' DeCaprio being cast in the lead role rather than an actor who could act.

Titanic could have been a Perfect 10 Film, but these two huge issues brings it to a solid 9.

Im sorry, but the acting was no where near "10" status. The acting in Lion King was better.
