A lead hook can mean any hook landed with the hand you're leading with. If you're fighting orthadox the hand you lead with is your left, so any left hook is a lead hook because you are using your lead hand.

I've seen a couple of threads like this and every time there are smartass posts about what a lead hook really is. You're just arguing pointless semantics. Look at the OP. It includes Mir hooking off the jab, and Hunt and Weidman hooking at the end of combinations (plus Weidman leading the combination with a hook). It's pretty clear that TS just wants hooks with the lead hand.

Not everyone uses the same terminology either. The reason people say lead hook is to make it easier to understand when both orthodox and southpaw fighters are reading it/being shown.
