Best female champion ever?

Lmao it's hilarious that to make your shitty thread relevant you decide to discard two entire years of a fighters career.

There are two threads today trying to downplay Nunes career achievements after she retired and they are both by you. Lol salty Valentina Stan?

You really just walk through life looking to be offended.

It’s Ronda for me sherbros. I’ve never had interest in wmma, but when Ronda fought it felt like an event. I couldn’t wait to find out if she got a quick armbar or if she got her ass kicked.

When Ronda fought, it WAS an event. She had attitude and was a super bad when she grappler. From 2012 -2015, she decimated all who faced her until she got whooped IMHO by engaging with Holly instead of dragging her down and trying to submit her.

Amanda, on Rhonda's return, was Total Wreckage and Destruction. I was glad she never came bac. The Rousey era ended with Miss Holm.

Amanda is very good, but she never seemed invincible

Saw Amanda first when she dispatched Rhonda, QUICK. After beating Rhonda, she just seemed IMHO a fighting machine. Cyborg was always brutal, no slam to her, but Amanda proved to be better.

Two of the 145 champions are probably top 5 WMMA fighters (Cyborg is for sure, GDR has a good argument). Nunes beat them both a combined total of three times with two finishes. You're a delusional fanboy. Nunes has more title defenses than any other woman ever, and that is what is called a fact.

Nunes is the obvious answer to the question that this biased and shitty thread is asking.

GDR is a 135er, same as Nunes
That division wasnt even a real division

She went up and beat Cyborg. No one wanted that fight. They were going out there trying to survive and she walked her down like she had somewhere else to be . . . and she didn't just beat her, but beat the fuck out of her and sent her to another organization.

I don't think it was Cyborg's decision to leave. I'm positive she would have loved a rematch, but of course it never happened.

Grasso and Nicco are the only ones never to lose a title fight, so there's that.

I'm sure you're trying to be funny, but just in case you're not, no title losses means a whole lot less when you also have no title defenses.

Val is definitely the better skilled champ, but Amanda has the bigger names on her resume, including Val (though admittedly with a big size advantage).

im not sure about that anymore. I was always a Valentina fan boy. But Nunes is more fluent, is more adaptable, transitions from striking to wrestling and BJJ seamlessly. It certainly looks more elegant and she makes it look easy like the most skilled fighters only can.
Ok we’re talking margins here and Valentina is brilliant, but she is kore cautious and that has made her less enjoyable to watch.

I have Nunes no 1 Valentina no 2.

Cris Cyborg. Her record is simply better than Amanda Nunes or Ronda Rousey.

At this point, I can't see an arguement for anyone to be placed above Nunes.
Nunes defeated them all + Cyborg...

1- Nunes
2- Bullet
3- Rousey
4- Cyborg
5- Rose

Imma just leave the numbers out there and you can make your ranking.

-Valentina Shevchenko (FLYW): 7 title defenses in a row, 4 finishes
-Ronda Rousey (BW): 6 title defenses in a row, 6 finishes
-Amanda Nunes (BW): 5 title defenses in a row, 6 title defenses overall, 3 finishes
-Joanna Jędrzejczyk (SW): 5 title defenses in a row, 1 finish
-Rose Namajunas (SW): 2 title defenses overall
-Zhang Weili (SW): 1 title defense
Julianna Peña, Jessica Andrade, Carla Esparza, Holly Holm, Nicco Montano, Miesha Tate and Alexa Grasso are girls that have got the title but have no title defenses (yet).

I'm not even going to count the FW division since that one has always been a joke (can't even make a top 5 out of it).

So the one with the most title defenses is Valentina (7), the one with the biggest finishing rate is Ronda (100%) and the one who has fought the toughest competition idk because that one is subjective but I usually hear ppl putting Amanda in that regard
Shevchenko for me...for her size and beat Nunes imo...her skill set was way ahead.

Amanda has the greatest resume. Val is the best fighter imo.

Also, where are Amanda's FW title wins-defenses?

Title acquisition-wins should also be included.

Ronda would have Holly's arm in a sling for 6 months if they ever rematched.
Lol. Holly has gotten better. Ronda is still the one dimensional fighter she always was. She would get her ass beat by so many different fighters today

How has Holly improved? Not disputing, just never noticed.

Holly is a can now. You have no idea what you're watching.
