don't power clean. Do rows instead. power cleans require too much technique and shouldn't be done unless you got a professional watching you.

We're not that different you and I. I used to avoid the power clean..

Then I took... ah nevermind.

Damn. Beat me to it.

Some post there just to spam and recruit. Was fairly funny when, after I left, Scott Donald (some of you may know him as the mod who claimed multiple world-record level lifts then proceeded to ban anyone who brings up the fact that he was obviously full of shit) stickied a thread by Broz which was little more than a thinly-veiled attempt at electronic recruiting by John. Not bashing John, he took advantage of the fact that Scott was just stupid and Bill (Isaku) had not been made a mod yet, and none of the other mods of that section pay attention to shit.

He did, as I understand it, a fair amount of e-business from his thread.

Now there's a path to e-fame that I wouldn't have thought of.

Does the world of powerlifting need its own version of Bullshido? :)

I'll just toss that on the list of reasons as to why I've never visited their forums.

Yeah, after claiming he could front squat 440 for reps (high reps) he posted a video where he had trouble rising out of the bottom of a 130 lbs., not kilograms, clean.

Link to an old thread about it (all the shit on bb.com got deleted): More amusing false claims!

Maybe F13 was down.

Actually, Travis Ortmayer posts there, and nobody can really give him shit. Otherwise, well, the place sees little in the way of top level lifters, besides one or two. Travis is, however, really cool in addition to being hellastrong.

I'm pretty sure Mendelson posts on the BB.com forums as well, I remember a friend of mine linking me to a Q&A thread of his where he was answering questions from guys. Most of them were stupid questions though (naturally), basic shit about board pressing, shirts, and if XXXlbs of weight lifted at XXXlbs bodyweight is "good", how much he squats, etc. Basically questions you could get answers to if you used Google or knew anything about Scot and his lifting career.
