Well who in both parties would be against this unless they have something personal to gain. Already the plan is that even though the US is now the largest producer of oil in the world they say now a lot of the oil we produce they cannot use to make good fuel for cars and heating houses. So here again they say we still need to buy 7 million barrels from overseas markets and that if we destabilize this with an attack on Saudi leadership could cause fuel prices to climb up.
