But it can be true alot of the time.

You got a problem with reality buddy?

That seems like a personal issue.
Seems to me, people who get upset over some random message on some random message board are the ones with personal issues.
But what do I know because according to some random person who wrote a random message on some random message board questioned my connection with reality.
Take it with a grain of salt Gents.
Cheers, have a good day.

Fight back or im gonna stop it!

That fight was pretty back and forth. He wasn't dominating but he could've won the first 2 rounds, we don't know what the scorecards were.

Regardless, Demian was working him everytime they touched the mat. Ben is a good grappler but nowhere near Demian's level

Ben Askren was out boxed and out grappled for 14 minutes until he got choked out and you are blind or simply coping if you deny this.

His mouth says he won the first two (BS), but his face and tone tell the real story: he knows that his dream of being the best is 100% over.

Lmao the whole time I was thinking how askren is getting exposed. Outstriked by a bjj specialist and even being out grappled. He started landing more shots on the 2nd but barely won the round.

Askren got exposed and will be cut soon. Garbage striking with mediocre wrestling. He needs to go back to one fc or bellator

He won the 2d
On the other hand, I find Maia's shape and cardio very suspect. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets USADA'd.
You noticed that too?
I'm not saying he's going to piss hot but if he did, I wouldn't be shocked.
He should be getting old man muscles at this point, not looking more fit than we've ever seen him.

Id say he was winning but not by much. Maia was looking tired on his feet. Inthibktif Ben keeps it standing he probably wins it.

Ben might have stole the 2nd with some well timed takedowns and a good uppercut. But he was getting outclassed overall maia was jabbing him to death, easily reversing his takedowns, and come the 3rd Ben looked desperate and gassed. Ben gave up his neck like Conor looking for a way out.

If he fights anyone with literally any striking ability he will get caught. Till would have knocked him out cold had that fight happened. The guy is the biggest sponge I’ve seen in my life. Arms out forward just walking into shots. The Robbie fight was such a fluke in retrospect, even more so now.

Ben is now saying because he was winning before he got caught, he may not retire just yet:

“I mean, retirement is definitely something I’m considering,” Askren said. “I would be lying to you if I said I was not. . . . [but] I was winning the first 12-and-a-half minutes of that fight, and then I jacked it up in the last minute . . . I totally lost."

His confidence is still so high he thinks he won the first two rounds. He's not even putting that on the table for debate.

I had it 1-1, with Maia winning the third right before the finish.

First was a toss up - probably Maia's, but 2nd I definitely gave to ben. 3rd was another toss up until Maia landed the sweep and finished him. It would have been Maia's if Ben managed to survive the round. It was a close/competitive fight either way.

“I would have liked to [have gotten] a Muay Thai clinch more often, but he was able to stay out of that. But I was landing the punches I wanted to land; I was landing my uppercut really well. And then I was getting takedowns; I think I had four or five takedowns.

“And then I made a really bad decision. I remember thinking I won the first round. . . . I felt like I won the first two rounds. And when I got reversed in the third round, I looked up at the clock and thought,
I have a minute left . . . I have to get a reversal to win this round.

“And we had obviously trained so much back in camp [for BJJ] and I had a really good jiu-jitsu guy. . . I guess I was overconfident. . . . I was fairly confident that when I went for that reversal I was going to get it. But I didn’t; I failed.”

He's not wrong.
IMO it was 1-1 and if he was reversed & subbed, he could have gotten the third round as well.

Even Gracie breakdown thought Ben was fighting "the perfect fight" until he took Maia too soon on the third and paid the price.

Watch for yourself:

Got caught? stole someones line.....
