Yeah this is pretty big news for Bellator and Dutch combat sports fans. Videoland also holds the rights to broadcast/produce GLORY in the Netherlands. Hopefully this attracts Dutch “kickboxing-only” fans from Videoland into watching Bellator/MMA too
I’m all for it! Would be cool. I remember Manhoef always wanted to do his retirement fight in front of his countrymen.Bellator could hold a pretty decent Dutch event headlined by Mousasi, van Streenis, and Kielholtz. Bellator has talked about a possible Dutch event for some time now, so it could now become a possibility.

Bellator now also has Pieter Buist, who signed with them after having fought at ONE FC and WFL (World Fighting League, from Melvin Manhoef)
Ilias Bulaid and Bellator parted ways recently. Bulaid has signed for a fight at UAE Warriors 41 on May 19 (he has better chances to sign with the UFC when he’s no longer tied to Bellator)
I don’t think Bulaid lost that one, but it was a close fight yeah. He was still young in his MMA-career though, so I’m looking forward to his next fight and curious how he has developed over the course of the last 1,5+ years.Bulaid arguably lost to Sasu. I expected a lot more from him when they signed him tbh, not a big loss if they parted ways
Bellator should sign Costello's brother

Fight week and some fight odds happenings.
Gegard opened up a massive-550 favorite and quickly adjusted to -260. Lima opened-175 .....van steenis currently the small betting favorite.
This is a solid Bellator card.
As long Gegard is checking " most" of the pre fight boxes then I'm expecting a pretty much one sided fight ...... ( I'm hoping as well). Then and only then will I start breaking down his chances at this stage of his career .I'm gonna end up betting Gegard I think. Fabian is average, I can't see how Moose loses to a guy like him.
Didn't get the Costello movement in time but that's accurate imo.
when did This bout get made?
Diatta is facing Keir Harvie as well
I hadnt thought about the leg kicks aspect of it all. Alhtough, I do think Barnoui is the superior grappler, he is just too well-rounded for Primus to engage him in the ground. This should be a fun one, way better match up than Barnoui vs Outlaw.Primus via decision. I think he’s too strong and his grappling is too good for mansour to sweep him from bottom.
If it stays on the feet it’s a more interesting fight. Primus has a more well rounded striking game and mansour is known for not checking kicks
I’ll send you the breakdown I did for Brent. I didn’t have a hand in his training, but I built the roadmap.I hadnt thought about the leg kicks aspect of it all.
