tomorrow (fri) we get to see some good wrestlers in bellator 233 in fortune and logan storley

Bellator is better for young fighters and their development. The UFC shouldn't be signing low level scrubs with no experience other than wrestling.

I mean the ufc tries to force wmma on us, London gone is the time when they were about the best fighters.

It's better they spend time in the minor leagues first to see if they can hack it.

Logan Storley

Age: 27
Weight: 170lbs
Height: 5'9

10-0 in MMA 5-0 in Bellator.

Is that you on the left and Logan on the right?
He looks impressive, too bad the UFC didn’t sign him.

UFC 99% of the time isn't in the business of promoting guys 0-0 or in other words green as shit unless you bring some type of fan base with you(ie: CM Punk). They let the Bellator's, LFA, etc of the world bring them up and if they stand out they'll seek them out.

Good! Let's keep it like that. And they can keep Davis and Bader

I watched a couple of Bellator fights recently and it just feels so 2nd rate. It sounded like there may have been 3,000 people in the crowd watching Lima/McDonald. There cant be many people watching these fights on DAZN. I hope they succeed.

Bellator is developing a real talent pool, and they're doing it very intelligently.

Wake me up when any of them beat someone relevant. I would also guess that they ask for a salary that doesn't match their MMA experience or fame. If the UFC doesn't do something, it's most likely because they don't think it's profitable enough.

Let's also no forget how signing 0-0 Pico turned out.
So because Pico has lost some fights, bringing on pedigreed athletes from the combat sport that best translates to MMA success isn't a viable strategy? Mental gymnastics much?

Even when they do beat somebody relevant, casuals like you won't acknowledge it.

This site has gone down a long way over the last decade or so, and that's saying something.

It's not when they haven't proved they can hang at higher levels of MMA or if they aren't already famous (like Brock). The UFC is letting Bellator sort-out the wrestlers and will poach them later if someone is really worth it. Can you honestly think of any of those wrestlers that the UFC is regretting not getting when they were 0-0?

Even when they do beat somebody relevant

Like who?

Fortune is pretty good, the others are not impressive from what I seen.

Bellator is signing these guys when they are 0-0. That isn't substance lmao. Majority of them will fail in the sport, and the UFC will collect the successful ones. Pretty simple stuff
Great, we agree then.

If you read my posts in this thread you'll that as long as UFC favors the best fighters instead of a particular style of fighter, then I am all for it. Since this is the case here, I wholeheartedly agree.

If most of them were White ufc would sign em
