Only time I've seen it work is my nephew, he was the side piece with a chick from work for yonks, absolutely adored her and saw him in tears more than once. They now have 2 beautiful kids and couldn't be happier.

Obvious exception to the rule.

Oh I know there are. My wife and I have been together for nearly 2 decades. I was not exactly single when we started out.

She leveled him out completely, he had some pretty dark mental health issues growing up but he's all the way normal now and she seems lovely. His mum's pretty black and white when it comes to stuff like that but when she left her ex she was welcomed into the family with open arms.

Sorry but you got serious problems you need to work on if you a pursuing someone who is married. It used to be legal to kill people for doing what your doing, crime of passion used to be a common defense for murder.
