To be honest, even (somebody who often behaves like a douchebag) kounterpunch tried to help Bill. Bill started the FB after everybody here was almost begging for it (it started with advices, then requests and ended with begging).

With all respect to Bill, each and every piece that comes under his brand is purely Muhammad's job as a result of application of his skill, knowledge, experience, his intelligence and his humble, kind and wise character. And it's Muhammad who deserves all the credit for everything good. While Bill often behaves like if he was doing a favor, which is (speaking softly) ridiculous.

In all seriousness though, my opinion is that the business model is slightly flawed.
I can imagine you have to answer the same questions dozens of times a year Bill.

Do you have this colour....
No but we have this,
Well do you have this colour...
We have this....
Can I see a picture,
PIC,
How about this colour...
Etc, etc.
I'd get pretty grumpy about that too. If you opened an photo album on Facebook you could put a picture of every colour leather you have at hand and where it could've used ie non striking areas, trim only, etc. You could then make another with every foam, and another with design/ product available.

I understand it would take abit of effort to set up but you could refer people to Facebook a and cut down a lot of email traffic. The only info people would need from you would be pricing, delivery and special orders.

I went with gloves from Juan, and possibly a fractionally lower quality item judging by the reviews, purely because he gave options and information above and beyond to every email.

Nak has a good point, to avoid back & forth email, just provide exact information.

If a customer asks about colors. Tell him all the colors you have availible and the ones you don't would cost extra. I would include pictures, pricing and all availible options to mix and match with.

Much easier than going back and forth by email.

From what I understand, products go from Pakistan to Bill in NH. Why can't the product go straight to the consumer like every other company does? It'd be easier, faster and cheaper than what you're doing right now.

I could understand if you wanted to see the gear yourself before it goes out to the customer but Muhammad could do that for you.

hi guys , pleas pleas lets not get into this debate...
bill is a great guy , by now i have known him personally he is very kind as a person, i,ve seen very few like him...
he is the one guy whom help and encouragement has enabled us to start this custom gloves line, as he was the one involved in this business for 50 plus years with huge amounts of experience ,he worked with dan mosbey and has been involved into the history of gloves making for long long time much before even i was born.
he and i discuss new ideas together and with his innovative ideas and suggestions we get to make improvements in our product line , its a collective work that we do.
at times we might have missed some standards of customer service , but that was,nt intentional if it happened with anyone.
and i am sorry for that if it happened.
we both try really hard , and i am saying because i know bill even answers emails in the middle of the night and even during holidays.
and we are still trying to even improve ourselves and our work.
all of your constructive criticism and all the suggestions are more then welcome here and we deeply look into every one of them and try to apply them to our business practices as we are,nt perfect and we believe that there is always room for improvements.
bill and i are a team trying to produce some quality gear to help serve in the sport of boxing and that we are doing only with the help and support of the guys like you out there.
he and i both try hard to give the service to our existing, past ,potential customers and we are very glad and thankful that you like our work.

I had spoken to Bill and he was really cool about it even when asking him for discounts etc only because i am in no situation to afford gear at the moment, I'm pretty sure by the end of the day when you receive 200 odd emails asking you the same shit ,you'd get pretty annoyed.
We are to blame our selves for the back and forth emails of oh do you have this and oh can you do this and that!! There for when providing an email you should ask all the questions at once and get all the answers at once, instead of beating around the bush with the intent of the same question.

I think for the price and quality of the gear we really can not complain about anything compared to the rival companies customer service.

Everybody should let the situation go and keep supporting Bill and Muhamad if you like the product, if not well there are brands out there with shitty gear along with customer service and a price tag who will not entertain any of the complaints we have. At least with Bill the positives out weigh the negatives

The whole point was to accent the huge difference between Bill's CS and Muhammad's CS, not in favor of Bill I am afraid.

Muhammad, what patent leather is currently available?
