Not really. Shevlin was doing the same thing 5-10 years ago and people used to buy their snakeskin/aligator gloves and post pictures here before they shut down. Fine as long as you're collecting, but for boxing purposes it's kind of silly.

After everything is said and done, it will have been 8 weeks. Seeing the pictures, I'm thinking it will be worth it.

Totally understand the terrible situation with Topboxer's father (my condolences again), though I was extremely frustrated at times when communicating with Bill. I completely get it that unavoidable situations come up, but when estimates go from 4 weeks to 8 weeks, I just want consistent communication.

Can't wait to try these out and hopefully purchase more in the future!

My brother picked these up thinking they'd be great, and I was totally against the idea. Having hit and held them for two rounds, I'm completely sold. I've owned mitts from the majority of manufacturers out there including Title, Ringside, Fairtex, etc. Without exaggerating, none of those other mitts are even in the ballpark of these mitts.

I'm already kicking around ideas for my order, and I might have to grab a chest protector while I'm at it. I never thought I'd be all over Bill's gear, but the work he and Top Boxer have done is insanely impressive.

I was showing my wife pictures of your mitts and we agreed they are cool as hell. I am kicking around ideas on how I want mine to look like. If you don't mind me asking, now much were they?

I plan on doing full review of them once I've had a few weeks to use them, but some info off the top:

- The pop sounds like a small bomb going off in the gym. I've never heard a pair of mitts crack like these.
- The protection is excellent. They are super light, but very, very dense. They protect my arms and elbows similar to the way air mitts do. The only thing I would change if I were to order again is the placement of the velcro strap, it sits just above my wrist, and I'd rather it just below. If I have a heavyweight getting in some work and they hit it funny, it will probably bother me quite a bit.
- They are suuuuuper stiff. That being said, I like it that way. Both guys who I've worked with were using 12 oz Reyes and they had no issues with the hardness of the mitt. I'd much rather them be very firm than very soft.

Jaime: Shipped to my door they were $173.99. I'm very happy with the price of the mitts after having the final product in hand. That being said, I'm an owner/trainer of a boxing club, so I need a nice pair of mitts for my business.

Yeah I've been using mine a lot. The super stiffness goes away and stay about medium afterwards this happened about 80 rounds or so. Lemme know if yours does the same.
