Batman is the most resourceful superhero and the greatest detective. Not very impressive things on paper, but they allow him to exploit anyone's weakness.

Very plot device based powers to have. Daredevil is also highly intelligent and resourceful, and has legit superhuman abilities to boot.

Can you guys specify what this huge advantage is batman supposedly has? Daredevil is a very, very high tier fighter. On par with Captain America and the premier martial artists in the mcu.

Daredevil has all kinds of feats dodging bullets and beating the shit out of highly skilled fighters. Batman has the utility belt, but there's no anti Daredevil spray in there.

DD is faster, an equally skilled fighter, equally strong if not stronger.

I always read that Batman is at peak physical ability for a human and skilled in all types of martial arts.

He is peak human, which is why he would lose. DD is faster than peak human, by a considerable amount.

I never knew that. I thought he just had the sonar-sense and was a badass mofo plus acrobatic and such.

I agree with you on this. As much as I like Daredevil, Batman is generally regarded as one of the best fighters in the DCU, while in Marvel Daredevil is considered very good but not at the very top. If you compare their feats in the comics, Batman has DD beat. Batman also has better equipment.

If we're comparing movie Batman to Netflix Daredevil, things get more interesting. In that case, I think I would go with DD over any movie Batman (as long as Adam West doesn't have "anti-lawyer spray" or something).

Batfleck would crush Netflix DD's skull.

Batman by engineering devices that exploite DD's sensitivities to the other four senses. If they just happened to run into each other and fought, i would give DD a better shot; but as the old adage goes,: Batman with prep time for the win.

He literally had such failsafe plans for each member of the justice league -- if he could thwart Superman, WW, Flash and Manhunter, DD would prove no real challenge.

I guess we do need some specifics here. I was going on the notion we were talking about the comic versions.

and how the fuck is this the first time I've ever heard 'Batfleck' before??? <43>

Yeah like a lot of characters he's gradually been amped up over the years. He has legit superhuman reflexes althought they don't always acknowledge is as such. During the civil war he masqueraded as Iron fist, and was such a badass nobody could tell it wasn't him. And Iron Fist has supernatural qi based powers.

That's the annoying thing about Batman. In any hypothetical scenario his opponent is derping around but batman has a ton of prep, high level tech he NEVER has on him, advanced knowledge etc.

Meanwhile in the actual comics when he runs up on someone like Deathstroke, more often than not he just gets his ass kicked. No running away to the batcave to grab super tech. And Daredevil is on Deathstrokes level. Being blind in one eye has also failed to prevent Ole Wade from kicking Batmans ass multiple times.

Yeah I was responding to the dude that said Netflix DD would beat up any movie version of Batman. Maybe Nolan's Batman who winged punches like Ronda Rousey.

Yeah, but part of Waynes skill set is advanced knowledge of strengths and weaknesses of opponents, allies and anyone else he sees as a threat. They are so on point and detailed that others can simply follow his blueprint and use them to success -- as shown in the Tower of Babel story.

Daredevil can't even use the internet.

Daredevil's sensory vulnerabilities would be too easy for Bats to exploit.

Batman by prep time, obviously.

BTW, has anyone been watching these Batman/Justice League Cartoons on Netflix or Amazon. They are pretty fucking good.

Yeah he's great at research, but he doesn't just automatically know everything about everyone. And it's impossible for him to know the strengths and weaknesses of people from different realities that he's never met..

Despite all that knowledge and training, he DOES get his ass kicked. Many of his victories come from getting beat up, and THEN studying someone.

The Dc animated universe is amazing, almost everything is great. The justice league series and movies are amazing, so are the batman stand alone movies, the batman and superman team ups, and the superman solo movies.
