i was watching the SW Ep 7 and when trailer for this movie came on, i closed my eyes and went "lalalala", bcs i've heard it's a major movie spoiler. I could still hear his annoying voice through my humming and singing. IMO a terribly bad casting on that one.

Agreed I preferred how the Justice League Cartoon and Superman Cartoon depicted Lex as almost physical and intellectual equal to Bruce Wayne minus the Ninja Skillls

IMO, writers should never aim to depict Lex as Supes physical equal. He is just not that character. Black Adam/Doomsday/Zod yes but not Lex. Lex is (again IMO) a business man, highly intelligent and highly skeptical about Supes and his motives. He should manipulate/orchestrate the big baddies to attack Superman, not do it himself. I'm thinking Superman and Batman Public enemies.

The Batcave comes outfitted with another significant asset: a brand new Alfred. Bruce Wayne’s butler and aide-de-camp (Jeremy Irons) won’t just be serving tea and drily chiding his employer from the sidelines.

“Alfred is a lot more hands-on in our film than he has previously been,” Irons says. “He’s a bit of a grease monkey, and he’s very involved in the decisions Bruce makes.” Of course, at the end of the day it’s just two weary men in a bunker going up against the world’s most powerful superhero. So, you know, good luck with that.

I'm fine with that too but I like the possibility of him being an evil Bruce Wayne in that he has all the resources to manipulate but also get his hands dirty to by a distorted version of Batman

With more than three months before its release, a number of major plot details about Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice have reportedly leaked online.

A Redditor claiming to have seen an advance screening of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has taken to the Internet with the on-the-nose username of "ViolatingNDA" to review the film and reveal potential plot and casting details that had heretofore not been revealed.

In a nutshell, ViolatingNDA was crazy about the film, praising it as the best comic book movie since The Dark Knight and saying that some of the film's dicier elements -- like Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg -- helped contribute to its success.

Hey DC_Cinematic, i’m using a throwaway account for obvious reasons, but I saw the movie last night! I use a website for advance screenings and I got tickets for a mystery film and it turned out to be BvS. The movie was very long, as long as TFA if I were to make a comparison. It didn’t drag though; every minute of the film was used effectively.

Performances were all great. Jesse Eisenberg as Lex is way more complex than what the trailers show. By the end of the film, you will HATE him, but at the same time, you can’t help admire how capable this guy is. Ben Affleck as Bruce/Batman is definitely the standout performance. I was surprised/scared how different he became when he put the mask on. This Batman will come across as a villain to some viewers; he enjoys inflicting pain on criminals. There was a scene where he was branding a criminal, and he had the biggest smile on his face. I don’t know how fans will react to that, but I felt it worked with this version of the character.

Everyone else was great too, even the new supporting characters played by Jena Malone and Scoot McNairy. Jena Malone plays a crippled Barbara Gordon. She doesn’t have much screentime, but she does make a Killing Joke reference about an amusement park incident involving her now retired father. Scoot is playing Jimmy Olsen who was injured during the events of Man of Steel. He does not blame Superman like the others, but supports him and views him as a hero. He has a popular blog about Superman.

The third act was mindblowing. The Doomsday reveal in the trailer is just the tip of the iceberg. There is a lot of action, and I loved every moment of it. The first and second acts are the “Batman v Superman” parts of the movie, while the third act is entirely “Dawn of Justice.” You will see a fully assembled Justice League by the end of the film.

All in all, BvS is the greatest comic book movie since The Dark Knight, and I can’t wait to see it again come March. If anyone has questions, i’ll be glad to answer.

I'm a huge skeptic, I'm also pretty good with comics, I'm more Marvel/Indy and i'll pick up some DC crossovers, I wouldn't say i'm a comic book nerd, but i'm more well verse than most. This reddit thread has me convinced that the guy actually saw a screener of BvS, that thread has HUGE spoilers if it's true, so do not go reading it, if you hate spoilers, at first the guy uses spoiler tags, but just gives up cuz of the sheer amount of questions, and his answers are not vague. They are to the point and it feels like from all his spoilers i know how the movie plays out.

But that is also not saying much, the proof the reddit guy provided, to me is pretty weak, just a screen cap of a confirmation for a mystery movie. The reddit user says he runs a movie review site, but he seems really into the DC universe, more than me thats for sure (i do know all the points he hits on though, but he's like really into it)

if you guys also want i'll answer "nagging" questions you might have from watching all the trailers (the reddit user really goes into detail, if you actually re-arrange all his spoilers and answers it's a downright review and plot for plot of the movie).

He doesn't sound like a "shill", I work in advertising, so i think i could spot one, and he doesn't seem like one.

Yup. I'm still annoyed at the doomsday reveal and the Trinity shot. Still gonna watch, but that felt like such a dumb move.
