He's but I still enjoyed it. There are far worse superhero movies than TDKR like Green Lantern, FF and Ang Lee Hulk.

Well, of course. Part of my disappointment with TDKR is that Dark Knight was so damn good. I was expecting something even better, since I've always preferred Bane to the Joker. Instead I got shit fight scenes, plot holes you could drive a Batmobile through and Bane with man-boobs.:icon_evil

Bane was great until the reveal which made him a pussy. I thought DK was okay. Two Face sub plot and Joker testing Gotham became a drag. My favorite is still Batman Begins.

Great point. Everything in this movie is forced. Should've used animated Worlds Finest as reference.

Also don't get the hate for writer, David Goyer. What did he do so bad that fanboys turned on him? He wrote Blade which took superhero to a new level and co wrote the Bat Nolan trilogy. Director Snyder is the one to blame for the Man Of Steel mess, not Goyer - look at how this sequel is turning out without him.

I think people hate him for Blade III, which is so very bad. He's got some other clunkers, like Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and The Crow: City of Angels.

Based on the recent trailer. It looks to be a typical action summer flick.

This trailer was horribly edited, seems like it was made to appeal to the casual fans whereas the last trailer and the new teaser was made for hardcore fans. The trailer is a horrible representation of the film with cuts, zoom-ins and sped up sequences that are not even in the actual film. Also it gave away way too much, personally I was almost certain that Doomsday would be in the film but showing him this early takes the tension out of the fight between Superman and Batman, the trailer also showed that this film does have a touch of humour and campiness to it, which was a bit of a surprise but I guess it's somewhat necessary, MoS and solo Batman films can afford to be a bit darker and take out the humour since it only focuses on a few main characters. I think the previous trailers and the new teaser are a more accurate representation of what this film will be rather than this new trailer which looks like it was put together by an amateur.

Revealing Doomsday was a mistake IMO. Why give away the biggest secret of the film in the trailer?

Civil War did not show Spiderman, but BvS felt the need to reveal their big bad in the trailer. I would have included more Wonder Woman scenes to build up her character, she is known to be in the film so why not flesh out her character more and save the big reveal of Doomsday for the movie?

I think their strategy for this trailer is to get the audience that normally would not see this movie, the people who are already committed to watching this when it's released are still going to watch it no matter what.

This trailer was for the typical action movie fan who is just looking for a fun action packed film with some comedy sprinkled in, hence the Doomsday reveal, most casual fans are not that familiar with Doomsday or the Batman/Superman dynamic and why they are even fighting since they are both heroes, so they show them some big cgi monster, heroes teaming up, some one liners and campy comedy to get the casuals. DC/Warner absolutely need this film to be a financial success which means they need a trailer that will appeal to a more general audience, I think thats what they are going for and the decision to reveal Doomsday.

Civil War trailer does not need to take risks and show Spiderman since Marvel films are already very successful and they basically sell themselves.

The Nolan fanboys are hilarious, dude has made one classic movie as a Director. In terms of Batman, even Burton's Batman Returns > Nolan's trilogy.

I agree 100%.

Fucking Ledger made Nolans most famous movie the shit. Not the other way around.

also LOL at Batflicks Batman voice

Does Superman got the stupid no kill policy that Batman has?

I saw a funny reaction vid to this trailer and when that creature jumps down, the person watching screams "Solomon Grundy?!"

It would be funny if it indeed turned out to be Solomon Grundy and everyone who thought "Doomsday" was wrong.

Although I don't it will be good but I'll see it nevertheless. I just DC will go beyond
The Batman/Superman/ JL stuff they do in their animated DVDs.

Has WB/DC shown an interest in doing a series for Netflix? Loved to seen them
to do Batman.

We get it. You have awful taste in film.
