Batman and Superman trash talks for few minutes then teams up.

Just another mindless action flick or a blockbuster hit. However its always a pleasure to see batman, superman or any superhero flick brought to life.

Lauren Cohan Cast as Martha Wayne in BATMAN V SUPERMAN

Lauren-Cohan-Batman-v-Superman-Dragonlord.jpg

Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead, The Boy) seemingly confirms that she is playing Bruce Wayne's ill-fated mother, Martha, in Zack Snyder's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Cohan's name was added to IMDB's cast list for the film and the 34-year old actress retweeted the news via her official Twitter account.

What makes this bit of casting even more interesting is that Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen) is playing her husband, Thomas Wayne, and he just landed a major role in AMC's The Walking Dead. So, in a twisted way you could say Maggie is married to Negan.

In the film, we'll see a flashback to the pivotal moment in which Thomas and Martha Wayne were murdered in a dark alleyway after taking their son, Bruce, to go see The Mark of Zorro.

holy fuck, how many times do we need batmans origin story?

I remember seeing a picture from the set of a theater showing "Mask of Zorro" and knew the Wayne murder scene was coming... damnit

i guess if it has to happen, its better to look at that sexy goddess in the role.

Luthor is more like Riddler in this film

I asked this in the Wonder Woman thread.

If Wonder Woman is 5000 years old, why didn't she fight in any major historic battles/wars? Persian invasion of Greece? Roman Empire? WW II? Kryptonians landing on Earth? Where hell was she!

Maybe she fought in some of those. How do you know she didn't? If she's fighting in WWI it's probably safe to assume she may have gotten involved in other wars.

Here it says she stepped away from everything for some reason so that explains why she didn't get involved in the Zod fight and it was very hard for her to come back. Maybe that(as well some Darkseid stuff) was a catalyst for her to return.

I know during the special they said her people don't believe mankind deserve to be protected but she doesn't hold that belief. Maybe after centuries of war and seeing what mankind does to each other she lost a little faith in humanity. I'm assuming her reasoning for stepping away will be explored in her solo film. It takes place during WWI and also modern time but before Man of Steel.

I thought the Amazons lived in complete isolation from the, "World of Men"?

Amy Adams is a great actress, but I just don't find her hot in any form. What I am trying to say is, I think she doesn't have the look to be Louis Lane. And I still think casting Jesse E. is a TERRIBLE choice. I don't get how he's suppose to be so much younger than Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne; plus in the comics he looked like he could throw down and here he looks like a massive dweeb who hasn't' hit puberty.

Holy hell, this image is phenomenal. Like I'm looking at Bruce/Batman straight out of the comics. Affleck's facial expressions are really selling me on him.
