That latest Scoot Mcnair rumor was also in that leaked BvS script. That makes me think that script is true.

"If I wanted it, you'd already be dead" is a pretty dope line. I'm squarely in the Supes camp as far as this apparent feud for the early part of the movies goes. And I'm a much bigger fan of Batman overall as a character, but Batfleck's motivations seem misguided at best. "If there's even a 1 percent chance that he's a threat, we have to treat it as an absolutel certainty." Seems like a stretch. I appreciate his intentions but I disagree.

I'm amped up for this movie.

Zack Snyder Promises ‘True’ Versions of DC Heroes

“I gotta say I was pretty ready for it, because I knew that we were really updating a character, a beloved character. I don’t think changing him – you know, people are always like “You changed Superman.” I’m like “if you’re a comic book fan, you know I didn’t change Superman. If you know the true canon, you know that I didn’t change Superman. If you’re a fan of the old movies, yeah, I changed him a bit.

“That’s the difference. I’m a bit of a comic book fan and I always default to the true canon, not the sort of cinematic canon, in my opinion, where they play slightly fast and loose with the rules. And so I feel like I tried to create a Superman that would set a tone for the world. And again, Chris Nolan as producer on the film, and who really created the story and who is a close friend, we worked closely together, to try and make a movie that felt consistent with the DC Universe as it was created. And it was something that I wanted to do anyway, so it really made sense.

“My point is that we DON’T take liberties. My point is if you know anything about the actual characters, you’ll see that they’re very much… what we’ve done is create a universe where those characters can really be the mythological characters as they’re designed in the comic books. So if you were a fan of them in the comic books, you’ll get a great opportunity to see what they look like, and how they move, and are real.”

Huh. So he promises the true versions, yet it appears he couldn't even get Doomsday right.

C'mon now, we've seen all of, what, five seconds or so of him? Are we really at the point where we're passing final judgement on less than a single scene's worth of film?

Just waiting to see all the toys Batman uses to take down Superman. Love Batman's creativity!

This is true. Sometimes it works out like that. But based on the 2 seconds of Doomsday I saw, he looks more like a Ninja Turtle than Doomsday.

How he actually looks:

More like how he should look:

To be fair Doomsday had more bone armor as he was damaged. He didn't just start out covered with it.

Yes he did.

From the moment he busts out of his metal cube/prison in the ground, once his green suit was burned off, he had all his bones. And if you want to go back even further, when Doomsday was first created on ancient Krypton, by the time he grew to be what we know as Doomsday, he already had all his bony protrusions. So he's basically always had them.

Lol, Superman doesn't need fake muscles on his armor to the extent that they're abnormally huge.

Fake oversized muscles are beta.
batman's suit is for intimidation. supes is just flashy and doesn't serve any real purpose beyond identification of his people's past.

I guess that makes sense. But were these for intimidation too:

Fly to Gotham and Metropolis in Turkish Airlines Promos

they really dropped the ball with those ads

The Turkish Airlines commercial was the most WTF moment of the superbowl. Why is a real airlines advertising to fake destinations?

We got a metric fuckton of spots for the game but these spots along with Civil War are tied for first. These are very creative and look beautiful. Jungle Book #3. X men meh. Everything else is okay.

Because its advertising the movie? Why would 2 fake cgi characters fight over a real Coca Cola?

Actually that little slit on the back end had a zipper on it, affectionately called the Bat Pooper, for when justice just really had to go.

Hopefully this 'Doomsday' is just a younger and smaller version. A 'tadpole' incomparison to an actual frog.

I've always said 'The Death Of Superman' would be the ballsiest comic-to-movie adaptation ever, IF they don't sacrifice the subject material for a lower rating. I think they could be very close to the comics with a hard-PG13 rating.
