Honestly, felt the trailer was kinda meh. I mean, I'm looking forward to it and def watch it, but I liked the little teaser from a couple days ago more, actually. Lex isn't bad, and yeah, batflick is going to be ok. Even Gal as WW doesn't have me as rustled as it did. Either way, this summer is going be sick.

was not that impressed. Too much was going on. Surprised they didn't show Aquaman. They're still going to do the whole "destroy half of the city and everything is cool" thing? Superman already destroyed half the city in his crappy movie. Lex Luthor seems crappy...Wonder Woman is too skinny...Ben Affleck sucks.

What I liked about Superman II (Christopher Reeve version) he had the presence of mind to take the fight away from populated areas when he realized how much damage it was causing. Superman (present day) just took out all of metropolis. Don't know why that irks me, but it does.

The first trailer was much better and got me super hyped for the movie. This one, however, is a let down. Doomsday origin is stupid, show too much of the movie, and their little interactions and jokes are too marvel like. Unlike marvel though, the jokes in the trailer made me cringe.

Most importantly though, Batman looks fat

Keep the banter between Bruce and Clark at the beginning. Change the music. Scrap everything else. That would have been good 2nd trailer.

The one I just watched was crap. The pacing is all over the place. It gives away the entire movie. Doomsday looks like shit. No establishing shot of Diana earlier at the same damn party. A journalist not knowing who the second wealthiest man in a 10 mile radius looks like. Lex sounding like the guy that gets picked on my other nerds. WTF

Imo they desperately try to get people to watch the films with action packed crowd pleasing trailers.

This approach can and does get people to watch but when you have as big of names as Batman and Superman, you don't need this approach.

Do, like you mentioned, the Star Wars approach. Little Snippets of the film here and there with 1 or 2 official trailers that don't reveal too much but just enough to keep you wanting more.

For what it's worth, I think he knew exactly who he was. He's just playing Clark Kent (as bad as it may be). When they have their exchange it's clear to me that they already know who each other are, and they already have their rivalry in place. Why else would Lex give a crap about Wayne meeting a reporter and acting like it's a big deal?

I agree with you on EVERYTHING else. I think I'm just trying to save what I can of that trailer, because I was very disappointed with it.

I'm overly gassed for this film, but damn that trailer should've came with a spoiler alert.

If not for the pure excitement I have for this film I wouldn't have watched the trailer and I would've swerved it whenever I go to the cinemas.

I'll reserve overall judgement once I seen the film in it's entirety

In the 1st officlal trailer (not teaser) Bruce Wayne says that Superman "has the power to wipe out the human race“. As horrible as the Joker is I think Batman doesn't see him as a threat to all of humanity whereas Superman is someone Batman is geniunely afraid of. At least that's what I gathered from it so far.

Or it could just be an ego thing, maybe Batman is obsessed with being the more feared vigilante and hates the competition. But I tend to think (and hope) that's not the case
