go straight to hell

...but he was. Straight from the horse's (Jim Starlin) mouth:
"Kirby had done the New Gods, which I thought was terrific. He was over at DC at the time. I came up with some things that were inspired by that. You'd think that Thanos was inspired by Darkseid, but that was not the case when I showed up. In my first Thanos drawings, if he looked like anybody, it was Metron. I had all these different gods and things I wanted to do, which became Thanos and the Titans. Roy took one look at the guy in the Metron-like chair and said: 'Beef him up! If you're going to steal one of the New Gods, at least rip off Darkseid, the really good one!'"
The character started as a ripoff. He may have evolved past that in the years since his debut, but the origin is undeniable.

Batman has always been the best movie super hero adaptation

ben is a better more varied and seasoned actor, cavill can't stay on screen w/him; anyone who has seen either guys body of work KNEW THAT COMING IN, the same way most people can't really stay on screen w/rdj..Evans has stepped up in the role as cap to where they trade evenly.

cavill has a look..physical presence, and general acting; but he lacks the finer points in expression of emotion..reaction and assertion, which limit what he can in fact pull off. As good looking as he is and how much work he has gotten, u would have thought by now he would have steam as that guy in hollywood; but no.

Rumor: Villain, Director and Release Date for MAN OF STEEL 2

Brainiac-Man-of-Steel-091415-Dragonlord.jpg

Rumors have been swirling that George Miller, 70, will direct the Man of Steel sequel for Warner Bros., but El Mayimbe of Heroic Hollywood has chimed in by saying that the Mad Max: Fury Road director hasn't yet decided what his next project will be. Though, it is supposedly his for the taking if he wants it.

Besides the Man of Steel sequel, Miller has reportedly been offered Dark Universe (also known as Justice League Dark), too. The team-up film will feature DC Comics' supernatural heroes Constantine, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, and Deadman. It was being developed by Guillermo del Toro, but he departed the project to begin work on Pacific Rim 2.

When might we see the next Superman (Henry Cavill) solo film? El Mayimbe says it is looking like it will either get a 2019 or 2020 release. And when it happens, who will he battle? Brainiac! It would mark the supervillain's cinematic debut, though, he was supposed to appear in Tim Burton's defunct Superman Lives.

The super-intelligent alien from Colu, created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino, believes knowledge is power and will stop at nothing to obtain it. He is known as the "Collector of Worlds" as he seeks out new civilizations, shrinks down city-sized samples and bottles them. Once he has extract all of the knowledge and technology from the new world he destroys their world.

Man Of Steel Sequel Rumors: Director, Release Date, and Brainiac as the Villain

Screw del Toro. Abandoning JL Dark for freakin robots vs aliens vs Hunnam sequel.

The only thing that can redeem him if it turns out he did the PR2 so he can get the funding to make Hellboy 3.

EDIT: also, i think Miller would be more suitable to something like Planet Hulk, if a standalone Hulk movie ever gets made. Wasteland, gladiators, developing culture etc. Miller's line of work. Just imagine it, it could be named Hulk Thunderdome.
