I do have a friend who thinks McD's is just about the best food on the planet. He will choose that before any high end restaurant and he is perfectly entitled to that opinion and taste.

And for him his taste and choices are fine. But there is nothing wrong with 99% of the rest of the world saying his taste sucks and his opinion is lame. I mean, fine for him, but should be dismissed by 99% of everyone else.

it is the same for BoxingFan if not trolling. Fine for him to hold that opinion but quite dismissible by everyone else.

LOL becoming one of the horde with group think is what you base your opinion on (if the general audience loves it, it must be great).

I don't buy it , this is the same guy that gave us Sucker Punch, I don't have him in the misunderstood genius category.

I've addressed the lack of great films by Snyder before, what if Kubrick was judged by Fear and Desire? MoS was Snyder coming into his own as an auteur, BvS continued that trend

Great directors have their rough spots , but I don't see Snyder as a great Director. As for the Lord of the Rings and Peter Jackson , that trilogy has a special place in my heart because that the last set of movies I saw with my family before a key loved one died so those movies are untouchable and I forgive Jackson for damn near everything, even the Prequel Series and the Lovely Bones

Snyder has some classics

Dawn of the dead

For me I'm starting to think he's better following a solid script. For instance, he copied 300 n watchmen to a T. Sucker punch was his own project and while i enjoyed parts, it needed someone to be like hey that's not gonna work.

Mos I think is the best Superman movie but it could of been better. bvs had some issues. To where I thought maybe he's not ok by himself.

Bvs I thought struggled from pacing and not enough action. I don't think snyder should get a pass on that film but it seems the ball was dropped by multiple people. Point in case...casting
