I honestly would rather watch 2 hours of Hishe's Batman than BvS

Nolan Batman killed Talia lol.

True. He also has no qualms about shooting the shit out of her driver so that he can cause that truck crash that kills Talia.

TDKR post-pit Batman was basically ready to kill without much issue in my opinion. He knew those League of Shadows fuckers were going to nuke the city so he probably didn't give too many fucks at that point. Pretty clear he was going to kill Bane too after his "WHHHHEERRRRE IS ITTTTTTT?" because he threw the "have my permission to die" line back in his face.

So did future flash pretty much formed the justice league in the current timeline much sooner by warning bruce?

I wonder if the JL was even formed in that knightmare scene?

No killing is so stupid anyway.

Batman should not have a goal to kill. Not like the punisher. But he should not be held back by a no kill rule either. Its just to stupid and unrealistic.

not a good 2nd week haul at all.

and I don't see next week being any better.

I still think it hits a billion, but just barely.
Really? I think it will close at around 900 million max. And that's being optimistic. It's losing steam very quickly. I'm actually surprised its getting this mulch money in the first place, given that the critics crucified it and the word of mouth got around pretty fast that it's not good.
If this was at least somewhat betterr I think it would have been one of the most profitable movies of all time.

Whatever money it doesn't make in theaters, it'll more than make up for in the BluRay/DVD sales, especially with the hype that there's a R-rated cut with 30 extra minutes.

I vouch for anyone to re watch nolans batman movies and you will clearly see and feel the difference

Well people are stubborn , I know a good number of people personally that think the critics are wrong even though they fucking do this for a living , also it's Batman V Superman we have been waiting for this for quite some time that alone carried it

Well to be fair, the cricitcs aren't totally right either. They are mostly complaining how this isn't "fun" and "happy" as if they have never watched Man of Steel or any other Zack Snyder movie for that matter. It's like complaining that the rain is wet.

Really? Most of the complaints I've heard are about how it's a pointless, boring, disjointed mess.

And it's not fun on top of that.

RLM was shitting all over this because(paraphrasing): " it has no fun", "everyone is serious", "everything is depressing", "It has no jokes".

A lot of words come to mind when describing BvS but boring and pointless not so much. It's just that they crammed everyone and everything in it. There was no way this was going to be perefct.

Nah, they had a laundry list of complaints. The being boring, depressing, and not fun were just a few of them.

Yes, they tore the movie a new one and I actually agreed with most of what they said. But just like most of the reviewers they started complaing about the tone of the movie and the lack of fun. Which, like I mentioned, is stupid.

IT wasn't because it's not "happy" it's because the movie is simply boring. I fell asleep a few times during the movie. The writing was terrible for this and the slow mo was over used and made me cringe.

I'm curious, which part did you found boring? In Croatia, cinemas break up the movie in 2 parts with a 15minute break in between if its over 2hours long. I would say that definitely helped with the dynamic of the movie. Maybe if I saw it in all of its 3hour glory in one sitting I might 've shared your opinion.

The second act if I remember correctly. The story and writing just wasn't interesting to me. Im not one to fall asleep in movies either, I watch the new star wars 3 times in theaters.

No, he isnt like The Punisher because he doesnt actually kill people. Or maim them, either.

The point is, in reality people would die from what he does. In a comic book or a movie, not so much.

In his first year as a comic book character, Batman killed 20 criminals.

The "No Kills" rule is a relatively recent development.

Fifty plus years isn't recent. The no killing version of Batman has been the norm for a long time now. Yes he was killing dudes back in like the thirties and forties, before any of us were born.

People saying that batman murdering people isn't a big deal are wrong imo. It's been a primary part of the character for a long time now. It also doesn't make much sense that he had multiple villains that are mass murderers that he allows to live, but he murders their random henchman.

Who knows how many thousands of deaths Luthor was responsible for, then he has access to him in prison and just scares him a bit? Nonsensical.

People are used to a batman and superman that don't kill, that's where some of the backlash and criticism of the movies being overly gritty comes from.
