Fans Launch Petition to Remove Zack Snyder as Director for JUSTICE LEAGUE

A lot of people seem to view Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice as divisively bad movie, and would rather see the Justice League handled by a different director, thus the creation of this petition by Bryan Cruz.

"Zack Snyder is not the person to bring the Justice League to the big screen. He's had two chances now to adapt DC characters and has produced middling results.

Even if you loved Man of Steel and BvS. There has to come a time when WB and DC want someone at the helm that can create something that WON'T divide people in such a way.

The building blocks are there for a great different set of superhero movies. Good actors and actresses and even directors. Zack Snyder is just not the guy that should be in charge of the biggest and most important films in the franchise. Especially with his track record now."

Is there a reason why they don't want George Miller to direct JL? Especially after Mad Max was a critical and audience hit.

Miller had some conversations last year with WB about making a DC film but nothing came out of it. I think Miller is focused on the Mad Max sequels and some low budget film somewhere there.

Was that Flash who appeared in Bruce's dream and said that Lois was the key? Or was it one of the New Gods?

Hans Zimmer retires from superhero films

My god that interviewer is absolutely terrible. First he says billion instead of a million. Then he claims it has the biggest superhero opening ever?? Does he even do any research?

I hate snobs like that interviewer who act like they are above the genre and too good for it.

Zimmer stayed classy though, he seems like a good guy. Shame there will be no more scores in future DC films from him.

George Miller Clarifies He Will Still Make More MAD MAX Movies

Minutes after receiving his fifth and sixth Oscar nominations for producing and directing Mad Max: Fury Road, George Miller told TheWrap that contrary to recent reports, he is far from done with the franchise, which has endured in the public consciousness since 1979.

Asked whether he was truly done with Mad Max and the postapocalyptic universe the character inhabits, Miller said he was misquoted after traveling for 27 hours.

“That was a completely garbled interview. I was in New York and it was so noisy and the journalist was asking me questions on a red carpet at the National Board of Review,” he said. “She completely got the wrong fragments of information that were just not true. I said no, [another ‘Mad Max’ movie] will not be next, and she took that to mean I never wanted to make another ‘Mad Max.’ It won’t necessarily be next, but I have two more stories.”

Miller had previously won an Oscar for producing the animated feature Happy Feet, while he had been nominated for writing Lorenzo’s Oil and Babe, the latter of which also earned him a Best Picture nomination as a producer.

Has this been posted? Clearly the man knows what he's talking about

7/10

I was expecting a lot worse. Thankfully, the ultra shit casting of Zuckersperg didn't ruin the whole thing. Wonder Woman and Batman turned out great, and i'm happy to be wrong about Batfleck.

Will need to see it a couple more times so i can pick up on anything i missed and formulate a better view of the movie and what's to come.

7/10. Review below in spoiler. This movie could have been A LOT more.

The bad: I hated lex. Felt if you didn't know the backstory you would have been completely clueless. I didn't like doomsday. I felt the movie couldn't decide if it wanted to be a launching point for justice league, about batman vs. superman, or a lex luthor story. Instead it just crammed it all in. I thought the intro sequence was a complete waste of 10 minutes. I hated the dream sequences (the fake battle in the dessert, the grave, clark with his dad were the worst ones). they shouldn't have touched on the other metahumans (flash, cyborg, aquaman)- it just felt shoehorned.

The good: Affleck was a fantastic deranged psychopathic batman, which is how he should be, especially later in his career. But I felt he was flat as bruce wayne. Cavill was fine, but largely unremarkable. The action scenes were pretty good (but I like stylized action like 300 and watchmen). The highpoint of the movie to me was batman going in to save superman's mom and his attacks. wonder woman was great, but they should have explained her backstory more.

Thought Miller said he's done with Mad Max?
Last I heard is he wants to do more Mad Max but not right now. Said something like he wants to do smaller movies for a while. Considering Fury Road was like 10 years in the making it's no wonder he wants a break.
I really think they fucked up bad not picking Heisenberg.
Walt turned them down, that's why Snyder went brainstorming and came up with this genius idea.

p.s. Anyone else notice Todd Duffe in that underground fight club scene?
