Exactly. There is a pecking order, even in Hell. Sex criminals would be regarded as the lowest of the low, and probably be killed by, "decent" criminals.
 
anyone else a little annoyed at how close they made metropolis and gotham city? its akin to gotham being manhattan and metropolis being queens/brooklyn ffs

could have sworn they were in two different states

Referring to the conversations between Bruce and Alfred, I think Batman was branding anyone he felt deserved it. I mean he never stopped to brand any basic level thug. Alfred frequently accused Bruce of crossing the line, getting too brutal, but Bruce always brushed him off. It got to the extent where Bruce nearly murdered Superman.

I think not branding Lex at the last minute is sort of a turn for the character to become less brutal. I dont think Batman will be branding anyone in the future films.

They are seeing Marvel rack up hit after hit, even with obscure characters like Ant Man and GOTG. So they are panicking, even though they don't need to. They are trying to catch up to the whole MCU in a single movie, and in doing so have sacrificed quality for quantity.
 
The whole idea of Superman vs Batman is silly to me. Superman is an alien with "super" powers. He can fly and burn metal with lasers from his eyes ffs. He'd smash the shit out of Batman lol

Yeah, I'm no expert but I thought Gotham was a considerable distance from Metropolis. I always thought Gotham was somewhere near New York or Chicago, and Metroplis was in the Mid West somewhere, like Kansas City.

My friend who I saw this and I brought that up immediately after it ended. They always seemed to be much farther apart. I thought modern day they were Chicago and New York? Now they are as close as San Francisco and Oakland

It was intentional so that they could create the light and dark tones of Supes and Batman, also it allows the Plot detail of Bruce Wayne being able to witness the Destruction that Superman and Zod's battle brought upon

The film clearly depicted a realistic scenario for Batman to win and he has before in the comics.
 
Am I the only one who thinks that when they do the "How it should have ended" YouTube video for this one, one of the scenes will be that the whole final fight could've been handled by just giving Wonder Woman the Kryptonite Spear and letting her fuck Doomsday's shit up?

Because for large segments of the fight she was fighting him practically on her own and doing a pretty good job of it. I mean, she cut his fucking hand off! Give her the spear and she could've handled everything herself. Not to mention that she was probably the only one present who was actually qualified to use an actual spear in combat.

Luthor appears to have a fixation with divine figures even before accessing the data on the Kryptonian scoutship. All the time he is going on about gods and titans, angels and demons.

It's possible that he has learned of Darkseid through other means and is some kind of cultist.

If you cant suspend your disbelief for a 8 minute fight I think you should find something else to watch/read
