If you have seen BATMAN V SUPERMAN, how would you rate it?

And that folks is how you know that Squabbles is just a Marvel hater whose opinion on Marvel film carries no weight whatsoever.
Pratt played Star Lord as someone with charisma, but seeing as you give Zack Snyder rimjobs you wouldn't understand what charisma is.
His casette tape player meant so much to him bc his dead mother gave it to him. I know, what a terrible reason to be sentimental!

Every other person on Earth found GotG humorous except you. Do you know what that means bud?

It means you are full of shit.

And the vast majority of the voters in the BVS thread thought positively of BVS. All the haters that keep on going on about how much they hate BVS in that thread and others but never say anything about all the shitty marvel movies are overflowing with shit. And it reeks.

Affleck was damn good, but was basically the punisher with a bat cowl. LOVED the warehouse scrap.

The motivation & resolution in their lil 8 min kerfuffle was bursting at the seams with donkery. It was fun to watch tho.

The way they set up the Justice League was lazy as hell. The whole "Martha" moment was quadruple face palm worthy. Lex creating Doomsday and his other schemes were fucking stupid. We basically got sniveling, donkey brained evil Mark Zuckerberg.

It deserves the reviews it got. Zack Synder is a close second to Michael Bay in giving ppl cinematic diabetes.

This was the best thing to come out of this outrageous display of donkery....

I get the action & spectacle thing, but i was nearly bored to tears/frustrated by an hour & forty five mins of piss poor set up/flow. The scrap meant so much more in TDKR. In this warner bros clusterfuck, it boiled down to donkey brained manipulation by Lex. Superman should've just punted Lex into the sun. Gal Godot was the real MVP in the doomsday fight. This sums it up perfectly....

I watched it again on an airplane recently. I was amazed at how poorly executed it was after the second watch. It had some flashes of promise but then just went down in flames.

So you refuse to backtrack from that horrendous post about GotG?

Have some integrity.

I thought it was average. I don't know what to make of Henry Cavill but I sort of feel bad for him. He's not a great actor, not that charismatic, but this has to be the worst written Superman of all time

I actually like what he's doing, and I like the idea of a Superman that is conflicted about whether to be Superman and does things out of obligation due to his powers rather than being a boy scout.

But this interesting character (for me) was shoved into a terrible story in BvS.

I saw this last week. I love comic book movies. This was not good. It had some good parts, but the movie wasn't good. Affleck was good and I liked his Batman. I liked Wonder Woman much better than I expected to. I liked Jeremy Irond. Lex Luthor, wow. Just, I don't even know what to say. Who thought that was a good idea? There was just so much wrong with the whole thing.

Watching this right now. I stupidly downloaded the extended version I guess. Just an incredibly bad movie. Everything about it is completely wrong and terrible. Almost as bad as Fantastic Four. How does this happen?

Thinking about it. They could have done the Batman and Superman animated into a live action. They can have Jared Leto be the joker. He goes to Metropolis to strike a deal with Luthor for helping each other get rid of Supes and Batz. Bruce Wayne comes to Gotham for some business meets Amy Adams and develops a crush on her, and that can be the tension between Bruce and Clark

Only problem is Batfleck wont work in that scenario. If Christian Bale agrees to do it, they may be able to pull that off. Afleck can do an older Bruce, his is dark, ageing, cynical Batz wont work in that scenario. Christian Bale's Batz be better for that type of story.

I going to necro this because another thread was merged with this one. I just want people to see the vid I posted above in case they not see already.

Yeah, I don't understand all the hate. I thought it was a solid movie. That's all that matters to me, obviously.

The vid says it is using the ultimate uncut edition, but most of the statements in their are still from the theatrical version.

Watched the video, and while I agree with a lot of the individual points, it's still a plodding borefest of a film. One particular point though: I totally got what was going on in the "Martha" scene. It was still really poorly done. I feel the same way about the tornado in MoS; I understand all the motivations and why it happened like it did, but it was still a weirdly executed scene that should have been written differently.
