If that Kroll lady gave the sign-off for the BvS trailer that basically showed the whole god damn film in a 2-minute clip then she definitely deserves to be given the boot.

if you watched all 3 BVS trailers back to back

You pretty much saw the entire movie lol

They gotta stop with that shit

all you BVS haters have gotten to use to watching The Walking Dead, and all those premium channel slow burn shows. You want to see people interacting, sharing their feelings of sorrow, and doubt, and talk of existentialism That is why you cant stand fast pace, suspense, spectacular visuals and great soundtrack.

I'm pretty sure these same people also liked Mad Max. This was just a shitty, shitty movie that pandered out pseudo-intellectual bullshit to anyone who needed to think they were special and smarter or some other nonsense.

Edit: Just this whole grim-dark and gritty bullshit universe DC/WB have been trying to pander out for 5+ years I think now is not working. They're comics are in the shitter for it as are their movies. Ironically enough I think Gotham Central would've made an absolutely BOSS series and would likely get them some nominations for emmy's and it's dark and gritty as hell, but it's Gotham hence it works. Trying to do that shit with your entire universe most ESPECIALLY the poster child for hope, goodness, decency, humanity, compassion, humility, and self-sacrifice is NOT GOING TO WORK. It NEVER has and NEVER will.

More Warner Bros. Shakeup Rumored Due to BATMAN V SUPERMAN Fallout

Batman-v-Superman-Clark-Lex-Bruce-Dragonllord.jpg

The next six months could see more management shakeups at Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment, following a disappointing box office year in 2015 and a performance by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice that didn't live up to company expectations, according to the New York Post.

Longtime superhero producer Charles Roven recently had to step aside, while fan-favorite comic book writer Geoff Johns stepped up to take more control of DC's movies. This comes on the heels of Johns writing DC Universe: Rebirth, which is aimed at righting the ship on DC's print side.

The Post has no DC-specific details, but says production chief Greg Silverman's job is one of those in danger. That would be little surprise to industry insiders; last year, a string of high-profile disappointments left Silverman vulnerable, and it was actually more of a shock when he renewed his contract than it would have been if he had been shown the door.

Marketing and Distribution head Susan Kroll is also reportedly on the chopping block. While it's difficult to lay the blame for many of Warners' recent failures on marketing, there's likely an argument to be made that when you spend somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 million marketing a movie that stars Batman and Superman, the studio is not going to be happy when huge numbers of people go into the film's release month assuming it's going to tank and whispering about bad buzz.

Sue Kroll Reups With Warner Bros. in New Multiyear Deal

Sue Kroll, president of worldwide marketing and distribution for Warner Bros., has signed a new multiyear contract with the studio.

The move extends one of the longest executives tenures in Hollywood. Kroll, a 22-year veteran at the Burbank-based studio, last expanded her portfolio in July 2015, adding domestic distribution to her duties as head of worldwide marketing and international distribution. Since June 2013, she has been part of the triumvirate of executives, along with worldwide production president Greg Silverman and New Line president Toby Emmerich, running the studio.

While Warner Bros. has gone through a rough patch at the box office, Kroll's contract extension — coming in the wake of the rollout of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has grossed $873 million worldwide — is seen as a vote of confidence on the part of Kevin Tsujihara, Warner Bros. Entertainment CEO, who has stood by the team. (Silverman's contract was extended in January.)

Mr. Sunday Movies Calls Superman in BVS an "Idiot"

I disagree a bit I do like the universe DC is trying to create. I like the darker gritter stuff. It's different from Marvel and I do like the idea. This movie was just done poorly. Like someone above said. They took 3 Superman story lines and smashed them together.

I didn't think the movie was that bad I like up to where
they throw in DD after that it went little down hill a little
until WW shows up wasn't crazy about Martha thing.

I think it's a shame that didn't develop Batman, Wonder
Woman movies before this.

I just thought of a great analogy between this and the Avengers. Its like two different version of sex for a girl. The Avengers played the long, tease game, making us anticipate it. Showing us just a little, playing with so when the time came..we were ready, willing and it was glorious. BvS, on the other hand, pulled its pants down on the first date and tried to go in dry, it hurt. That is all.

This. Some people have stressed how this isn't supposed to be the standard version of superman. Well the majority of people don't WANT a dark and gritty superman.

More importantly, it ruins trying to have this rivalry between them. In the standard continuity it works because they have the same end goals but use drastically different methods.

It makes zero sense when they're both gritty murderers. Ffs we're supposed to buy supes being pissed about the bat brand when we just saw him fly to the middle east and punch a dude to death? Yeah ok

This, VERY MUCH this. The compare and contrast between the two is one of the main strengths on their character chemistry. They have such vastly different upbringings and views on life, the world, morality that they shouldn't be friends at all...And yet they are. And all of this is due to Superman being The Big Good of the DC Universe and Batman being the sort of Dark Good. When both come across as dark, grim, and gritty it ruins that dynamic and greatly limits what you can do with them as characters.

Not here to argue whether or not Superman saving 7 billion people from Zod makes him a murderer because there was collateral damage. Argument has been going on for 3 years now.

Just correcting the factually incorrect statement that, "we just saw him fly to the middle east and punch a dude to death."
He flew at who knows how fast , faster than the dude could even pull the trigger and went through stone wall , unless that dude is superhuman pretty sure he's fucking dead.

Or he could have put his arm out inbetween the guy and the wall etc.

Bottom line is we know for a fact he didn't kill anyone according to the movie and his own words. Saying he did kill anyone there when the movie says he didn't is just incorrect. But I understand that doesn't fit the "Man of Murder" narrative.

Yup Big Blue Murderer , Snyder butchers the Superman Mythos.

MoS sucked but the way people talk about it, you'd think the movie actually showed Superman killing all the civilians.

More like

The two Hulks, two Thors, the Ironmans, First Cap movies are like a small asian kid trying to pick up the nerdy chick he knows from band. The Avengers, Cap 2 and 3 are like both of them finally getting naked, and the small asian kids is small, and the nerdy chick looks pre-serum Cap Murica when naked, and they barely know what to do with each other.

When compared to each other

BVS is like the well hung underwear model, picks up the hottest chick in the Vegas clubhouse, and they go get a room, and have a one night stand, the small asian kid and pre-serum Cap nerdy chick cannot even begin to dream of.

That is a more specific analogy and sorry to the asians.
