The rumors are true. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is heading back to select theaters around the U.S. in Ultimate Edition form.

The 151 minute extended cut is currently scheduled to play at a dozen U.S. theaters, a pair of which are in the Los Angeles area but it will also be popping up in Austin, Chicago, Columbus, Houston, Phoenix, and New York.

"As a thank you to all of the fans, Zack [Snyder] and the filmmakers would like to invite you to a special theatrical screening of Batman v. Man I thought X-men was waaaaaay better than BVS. I mean it had a number of flaws to be sure, but it did a lot of things right too. And it wasn't relentlessly goddamn boring like BVS was.

Only 2 showings near me and both are already sold out

I did manage to get some Batman:Killing Joke tickets tho

BvS was the best super hero movie of the summer behind Deadpool for me, but im a bias batman fanboy, but I really enjoyed it

Civil War made me fall asleep the two times I watched it, but Ive never been big into the avenger movies (and come on, it was really avengers 3)
X-men....I cant get over how awful it all was. really. People bitch about Luthor..look at emo-nightcrawler. hes teleporting from his problems, one pamf at a time

exactly BVS is closer to a graphic novel while Cap Winter Grunge, and Civil dispute is like the Avengers Assemble cartoons.

That shit sold out fast. I gave my friend the link right after I got mine and it was already sold out. Was able to get 2 tickets, luckily.

When is the Killing Joke supposed to come out and for how many days?

BvS is not everyone's cup of tea and there was several mistakes in editing and production, but years later I will still remember this movie, I can't say the same for all the cookie cutter campfest CBMs that are pumped out yearly. As a CBM its one of the few that is unapologetic in its tone, while not always accurate to the comics it still takes the source material seriously. Can't wait for the ultimate cut and JL1, haven't even seen Civil War yet, even as a diehard Marvel fan I have little interest in seeing it.

Will this go to the total box office?
Kinda. Re-releases count towards the lifetime total, but they are usually mentioned separately (for example, look up Star Wars on boxoffice mojo and it shows all three releases: '77, '82, '97).

I agree with you completely. BvS is flawed but I still had more fun watching it than Civil War for some reason. I think Civil War is a good movie but not great because they played it too safe in my opinion. The airport scene had too many jokes.

I pray that they get the tone down right for Infinity Wars. If Thanos is another Ultron then I will give up on MCU for good. Hopefully Justice League is awesome.

Hard to take this post seriously- you claim to be a die hard Marvel fan but aren't interested in Civil War, what most people are praising as the best MCU film yet? Everybody has been talking about how great of a job the Russo brothers did and love the new direction MCU is going in, and you arent interested?

I smell shenanigans

Probably because that's what makes Batman a badass superhero instead of Punisher. It becomes more challenging for Bats when he can't kill.
Yea exactly, I mean one of the biggest things that defines Batman is that while he operates outside of the law, he will never stoop to murder, that's what separates him from the criminals
