Multiplat BALDUR'S GATE III

Are you fucking kidding us dude?? Have you been under a rock this past year
YOU FUCKING TAKE THAT BACK. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT KIND OF SHIT I'VE BEEN THROUGH!!!!

I got a PROMOTION! And a NEW CAR! And I MOVED!!! YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THAT DOES TO A MAN

No you're right, I should have known. I'm just blown away by how awesome it is.

The thing about this game is it's incredibly fresh to me. I play a Mario game, or a GOW game, I just have a feel for it. I know how to go about doing it. Everything in this game is alien to me and it's amazing

I listen to podcasts while I play games, and Milo Yiannopoulos was on Timcast last night and near the end they played a few clips of Asterion 1:41:56 to screw around with him.

I just saw that.
HOLY SHIT!

This game just keeps getting better and better.

This is what I've been saying gaming developers should have been doing for YEARS.
*Release mod tools.
*Have modders develop the mods & PC gamers to do the playtesting.
*Developers adopt the mods into the base game via updates, or have the updates be heavily inspired by the mods.

This is the future of community-based game development, not AI.
AI cannot determine what is 'fun.'

jesus christ. i didn't even know you could do this to karlach.

i thought i was an asshole for sacrificing wyll to those frog people. and i'm not really a big fan of karlach either but this is just cold as fuck.

maybe i'll do this on a durge playthrough, and place the head inside of the forge just to see what happens.

There’s a 5E spell mod where you can get better spells to choose from and make Gale a badass or reclass him into the new overlord necromancy class mod. I’ve downloaded so much lol I watch one YT channel just so I hear what getting released

I didn’t know Halsin could turn into a polar bear lol polar bear splash from the top rope onto Grymm Forge

late to the party here, but i almost installed that 5e spells mod. but then i decided against it. at least for now.

i mean gale is alright for me as he is. i don't want to be so stupidly overpowered that i can just cheese my way through everything. and i still don't know what half these spells in the game do and what's hot and what's not. i don't want to throw a whole bunch more new spells and add another layer of confusion to the pile until i'm more comfortable with the spell system in the game.

i remember adding all these mods to skyrim where it would change up all the spells and skill tree and add all kinds of new shit, but ultimately i'd end up being far too OP and it kinda takes the challenge out of the game and it feels like i'm just straight up cheating. i didn't want to end up in the same situation with this game.

in my next run i think i might just up the difficulty and get rid of the party limit. and that's it. even then i could feel that being a little cheesey, but why the hell not? at least maybe then i could find a use for wyll.

Karach on a Dark Urge playthrough is pretty great, especially if you romance her.

Killing Gale though is pretty satisfying.

in a dark urge runthrough i'm assuming i'm probably gonna have to end up killing mostly everybody lol

My 2nd playthrough was dark urge, and although you have additional powers that are benefitial in combat.... you're still going to need a full party to take you through all three acts... and maybe kill them in the end.

I think that may be an option. Haven't seen most of the new Dark Urge endings that were added in a recent update.

i guess i could always recruit hirelings after murdering my entire party

A lot of the 5E spells are just different spells to use as you level up and give you more of a choice based out of the players handbook. Extra flavour if you will.

Base spell in game are decent and you get a lot to choose from. You can still make killer builds out of them and get a lot of mileage even off of lvl 2 spells.

As far as mods go for skill trees, that gonna depend if you get any of the sub classes and if it’s a brand new class.

I'm gonna start this soon. I think I'll play a Bard (Not a class I've ever played). It sounds like one of the most fun and versatile builds for BG3

Loved BG1 & 2 as well as games like Dragon Age, so pretty sure I'll love this
Bard has been pretty fun.

Publishers are looking at BG3's success and wondering "how can one of our games have the cultural impact of BG3 but with only a faction of the effort on our part?"

Swords bard ftw!

My co-op group just finished act 2. Playing co-op is a hilarious and wild time.
