That's something I had a problem with; in the post-credits scene from AoU, we see Thanos put on the empty Infinity Gauntlet. So he must have massacred the Dwarves several years ago. Given how famous and important Nioavellir is, you'd have thought word would have reached Asgard or other planets before now.

Fucking Heimdall not doing his damn Job. This detail bugged me too.

do you guys think all the folks that went on that ash time will be resurrected in the next one?

SPOILERS!!!

Honestly the best superhero movie I've ever seen. I originally gave it a 9/10, but after thinking about how damn good it was and especially how good Thanos was I definitely give it a 10/10.

-Brolin as Thanos was the GOAT villain (I liked him even more than Ledger's Joker). I've never cared about a villain as much as I did Thanos and the scene with the Soul Stone and Gammorah was just one of the many masterpiece scenes with Thanos imo. I can't get over how much I enjoyed pretty much every scene with him.
-Amazing action throughout.
-One of the rare times that the humor was great, not forced, not excessive, and well balanced.
-It had great emotional moments.
-Thor's entrance with the axe was badass as hell.
-So many unexpected deaths and things that caught me off guard.
-Oh and if I didn't mention it already, THANOS WAS AMAZING!

Very likely. Also, you don't need the spoiler tags. DL lifted the moratorium.

Comedy is a super power.

I was disappointed with Caps new shield. Unless I missed it, Cap didn't do anything the whole movie except punch people.

Saw it 4 times since Thursday. Originally said 9.5/10 because I wanted more hulk and cap but I have changed my vote to 20/10. Fucking ridiculous. Felt like getting jerked off by angels for 3 hours.

Absolutely amazing to see in the theater on opening night too. Standing ovation before and after from the fans. It was something special.

I guess it depends on a few things. After Avengers Age of Ultron Loki takes over Asgard and puts Odion on Earth. I believe Thor comes back and comments on how things have gotten out of control and he had to leave and get everything back in order as far as the other realms. After that Raganrok happens. It's possible there was no one around to get the message or Loki did and didn't care. So it really depends on how those things unfolded. Also the guy who can see everything had already left at that point as well.

A little late, I know, but here is my review:

You simply could not have written a better movie to culminate 10-15 years of an entire universe into one movie the way that the Russo brothers did. This movie, from start to finish, was a big ball of action packed perfection.

Every character got their moment to shine. The character interactions and meet and greets were spot on in the movie, and allowed everything to flow smoothly. The comedy was there in abundance, but sewed seamlessly into the movie in such a way that it didn’t take away the threat which was the BEST marvel villain ever written onto the big screen, in Thanos.

Thanos absolutely stole the show in this movie. Granted, this was for all intents and purposes, a Thanos movie, Brolin absolutely SLAYED it. They gave Thanos so much depth, made his story plausible (in a Hitler way), and allowed him to express emotions and make game changing decisions throughout. He was a “big bad” in every sense of the way. From the moment he whipped Hulk’s ass, killed all the Asgardians, and killed Loki, you could just tell that he meant business. This was just the start of all the carnage, it was absolutly RELENTLESS. I mean, he scared Bruce Banner Hulkless for crying out loud.

I could delve into every specific part of the movie that I liked and/or found amusing, but I would seriously just be left here quoting the entire movie. I do, however, have my favorite turning point of the movie. In fact, it’s my favorite turning point of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.

When Dr. Strange checked all 14 million possibilities and found the ONLY way to win, he set his mind on that path. He knew he had to give up the stone and NOT tell Tony what the plan was. If he told Tony the EXACT way that things had to unfold, Tony would analyze the pants off the plan and concoct his own, changing the future, and dooming everyone in the process. Strange had to make one of the hardest decisions anyone in the MCU has had to do, and now he has to rely on the rest of the leftover Avengers to carry out this unplanned plan.

Also want to mention the REAL MVP of the MCU, Dave Bautista. This dude fought tooth and nail to get the role of Drax the Destroyer, and he stepped up his game yet again to shine in this movie. I mean, the dude has PERFECT delivery and timing, and of course, has the look for the part. His lines stood out the most to me of anyone in this movie, aside for Peter Parkers last words of course.

I used the word perfect quite a few times in this review. I do believe that it is the only way that my brain can describe this movie, because to me, this movie has summed up the MCU, brought us the best villain ever to hit the big screen, and actually made us feel, even if we all know that everything done in this movie will be undone in the next.

Just be warned though, not all heroes will make it out of the 4th installment of the Avengers, so do not get all happy in the pants thinking everything will be roses.

Easiest 10/10 I ever gave to a movie, and I mean that.

I agree with Thor’s entrance, but they missed the boat for not using immigrant song during that scene. Still an awesome entrance though.

To add to this, Rocket mentions thinking that place was a legend. A myth. So the Asgardians were probably the only ones(besides Thanos, obviously) that knew it actually existed. And as you said, Loki, disguised as Odin, probably just didn't care.
