That's 100% population decimation.

(Then someone buggering the corpses.)

The cast of Infinity War wonders where were Ant-Man and Wasp?

either Nebula will help him or he'll get Friday to send a signal back home. his suit was still functioning so Id imagine thats the safest bet, then Thor will probably come pick him up with Stormbreaker like you mentioned
I'm going to go ahead & open up a discussion that's on everyone's mind... regarding the Ax being called Stormbrreaker. I think once he failed to make the handle on it... that Stormbreaker was never made. This is now "Groot Axe."

I thought the romantic side plot between Hulk and Widow in Age of Ultron was as unnecessary as the one in TLJ.
Not that you you've seen the entire story yet & have any idea what the consequences or context that those relationships will have. What's say we give the story a chance to play out before we decide what is & isn't a valid addition to the story. yeah?

Loki could've done literally anything else and it would have been a better decision that likely results in him being alive

1) Do nothing. As we've established, Thanos only cares about the stones and generally doesn't kill other characters, even ones that attack him.

2) Try to join Thanos.

3) Flee.

4) Hide.

5) Literally anything else besides walking up to Thanos with a knife up his sleeve that even Thor can see. He's a friggin god with superpowers. Saying he had no other options is ludicrous.
in hindsite yes... but if he got er dun... then you'd be like... oh wow... I wonder what would've happened if Thanos lived.

But in the comics, he is?
Legit lol. Ok you got me. He is an Avenger. Nay, an ULTIMATE Avenger.

Edit: If you weren't joking around, then my reply is no. It was just an expression (ultimate avenger). He was never an Avenger.

No worries, I was confused too. They’ll probably save him for after the 4th film like someone said. I need silver surfer and Adam on screen ASAP.

To me one of the best surprises in how the movie was marketed was the way they hid several of the stones from the Infinity Gauntlet in the trailers. The trailers make you think that during the battle in Wakanda Thanos only had the power and space stones, when he actually also had the reality, time and soul stones. It made the scene at Knowhere all that more shocking because it made me think that maybe the Collector had successfully hidden the reality stone from Thanos. When the illusion started to disappear after Gamora thought she shanked Thanos to death I got goosebumps.

What bent my noddle during that scene is that Thanos literally resurrected the Collector for his masquerade who had no choice but to go along with it and did.

I'm a bit confused here though... because in the comics, this story has played out all ready... however it played out differently.

So what's the deal with the comic? Are they real world or not? For example, I'm comfortable taking in Canon comics in the star wars universe knowing that they are "real world" events. (For lack of better words....) Star Wars calls it "Canon"... but is there such a thing in the Marvel universe? Do the Marvel comics actually have some sort of reality that makes them just as valid as the movies... or can a movie come along & wipe out an entire story line & re-write it?

I honestly don't know. I'm just a little confused with all this talk between the comics & the movie... when the comics don't exactly follow the movie.

I only bring this up with you on this post because if there is no continuity from comic to movie... then it really doesn't matter if he was called the "ultimate Avenger" in the comic.

The comics are universe 616, the mcu is universe 199999

Did he? I don’t remember what happened to the Collector after the illusion disappeared. I assumed he was just a part of the illusion and that the real Collector was probably dead somewhere.

I really don't think Adam Warlock will even show up in Avengers 4. If he isn't given a proper introduction and build-up from a different movie, I wouldn't want him suddenly showing up in Avengers 4.

That's my take, due to his rampant "MAGNIFICENT! MAAAGGGGNIFICENT" then the sheepish nightmare-bunny wave goodbye. He didn't have the mind stone by that point, although let's be honest the variety of options each stone affords is nebulous at best.

To put it simply, whatever happens in the comics is not canon in the MCU or even in the other superhero movies. The movies just take inspiration from the comics and used it as their guide.

Adam Warlock's "ultimate avenger" line was just an expression. It's like Thanos bragging "This is the end for you. Because I am the ultimate defender!" Thanos is really not part of The Defenders team.

Yes, it doesn't matter. I was just correcting D3throned that Adam Warlock was never part of the Avengers in the comics.

na the best you can do is just use the comics as a rough guide

The comics are universe 616, the mcu is universe 199999
I understand the individual words you used, but I don't understand what them put together means. I also don't understand the meaning of the numbers. I would actually be surprised if you expected that this post would make sense to someone who asked the question I did... but so I'm just letting you know my thoughts about your post.

If you did actually answer my question with some way over my head code... then you really didn't answer my question if I didn't understand it did you?

There are multiple universes in the Marvel multiverse, all of which are designated by numbers. 616 is the "standard" universe from the comics. I'm not sure which number is designated for the Ultimate version of the Marvel Universe, but it's from that one that the films mostly draw inspiration.

that'll be a short discussion lol
