Saw a photo of Captain Marvel and her having the usual lame crush some guys hand who was getting fresh with her moment. It seems every superhero movie has their crush my hand moment when some idiot does something stupid and gets broken bones in their hands scene. He was on his knees and it looked like he was proposing to her but in fact you look and see his face in pain. In Avengers 4 they explain why she was not in the fight earlier and why ant man and wasp was not involved and it had to do with something that Stark was working on.

More photos filming Captain Marvel don't know if I would call it a spoiler but figured I would put spoiler tag on it.

That would go against what he told Dr. Strange during their talk. When he called it dispassionate and unbiased mercy. Rich or poor, everyone has a 50/50 shot at surviving.
Well yeah, I get all that... & I get the whole vibe he's got going where he's not evil... he really feelz like killing half the people is a good thing. A public service if you will. Population control is a very real issue. That however does not stop him from killing people who stand in his way.

I'm just saying that there's a huge opportunity lost here. Like when he killed Loki... I was like jaw dropped & wide eyed in disbelief. They could've spammed several of those moments one after the other & really thrown me out yonder trying to keep up with the major characters that were getting killed. It was pretty anti-climactic showing them randomly turning to dust compared to the Loki death is what I'm saying.

9/10. Nice story! Thought Iron Man was donezo. Why was the hulk such a pussy? He’s 0-3 in his last 3 (Hulk Buster suit, Thor and Thanos)

Thanos = Illuminati

I doubt Loki is gone for good.

He became a vegan somewhere in between thor:ragnarok and this film.

Well the fact that the movie doesn't do a good job of explaining a lot of the stuff for non-comic readers is a strike against it, not a point in its favor.

Dude. This has been a 10 year set up. Even my non comicbook wife knew what was going on by virtue of the fact she’s watched all the films. So if you've watched the MCU films as you said you have, you should be well aware of what was at stake.

The only people that should be legit lost with the movie are the newly minted Black Panther fan base that never watched the previous offerings, because “reasons”.

Call it 7/10? Fine. Gig it for not rehashing everything that has already been teed up in previous films? Then you would’ve missed the Mir fight completely, because it would be a 4 hour flick.

Another thing I want to say. Just because none of my friends watch comic book movies.

When he snapped his fingers and went to that weird gazebo place with little Gamora, I legit thought that he was one of the 50% that had ceased to exist. I thought that was pretty cool. But then that’s not what happened.

I'd say this film is better than shit like Thor 2 and Iron Man 2 and Ant-Man and the first two Avengers movies. But it's nowhere near as good as films like Winter Soldier, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy or Thor: Ragnarok. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Doctor Stranger are also superior.

Yeah those are all great, I guess you prefer what @TheRuthlessOne mentioned. A more compact story can just feel more crisp, if that makes sense. But I love the epicness of Infinity War. It balances things well, gives us all of the characters together in a coherent way, awesome fight scenes, etc.

I mean compare this to Justice League, it's not a guarantee that things are going to work well just because you have all of these cool characters in one movie. Infinity War manages them really well.

Any chances the licensinf agreements in Xmen and FF could allow some of those charectors to show up in Infinity War 2? I thought the bonus scene was goinf to be solver surger flying helufh space when something catches his eye.

I couldn't look away at all. Totally transfixed the entire time.
I would have probably pissed my pants instead of getting up and going to the bathroom, had the need arose.

Same. I intentionally avoided a drink for that reason, as sad as that sounds. I hate missing small chunks of a movie, especially one of this magnitude.

I mean its not like he erased everybody

People can now live happier lives because of him

I thought his viewpoint was deluded. He thinks he's acting for the greater good but in arbitrarily sentencing half of the universe to instant death he's not somehow mystically making life better for all the remaining individuals, those who can better allot resources among themselves.

As we see in the post-credits scene

you're also causing many other fallout deaths because whose manning the cars, buses, and planes when certain drivers and pilots immediately dissipate. You're also causing multiple generations of misery among survivors who have to try to process what the fuck happened to their loved ones and why they themselves are still around but those others are gone. Guy framed everything like he knew what was best for the universe. Seemed like a deluded mfer to me.

When I think of Thanos in this movie, I think of that old adage, "when you only have a hammer, every problem starts to look like a nail." So instead of contemplating how to solve the universe's problems- make it more fruitful, improve energy management or productivity and use of resources, he's looking to kill so that there are fewer individuals occupying it. Why? Because he's a malevolent piece of shit who worships death.

That’s the point though. I don’t think Thanos really enjoys killing all that much in the MCU. I think he does what’s needed and not much more. At least that’s how the Russo Bros. are making him come off.

That was really my only gripe. Thanos alpha'd him.

So many applause worthy moments throughout.

In the theater I saw it in, the two moments that elicited the biggest reactions were

Cap's return and when Thor lands in Wakkanda with the AXE! Sick stuff.

Really thought Thor had a great part in this one.

and I don't know if you guys noticed but he had the Robbie Lawer-toward-Hendricks-death stare of doom when he stabbed Thanos with the ax and embedded it deeper. Dude wanted to look into the eyes and see him suffer...

I enjoyed the movie. It sucked barely seeing Hulk since he's my favorite character. They better make up for it in Avengers 4 and have him do something spectacular.
